Summary

This 2023 Lamborghini Urus S represents the refined evolution of the world's most successful super-SUV, offering the high-output 666 CV engine also found in the Performante but with a superior ride quality. With 32,000 km, this vehicle has been enjoyed as intended and sits perfectly for a buyer looking for a maintained, usable example that has already navigated its initial depreciation curve. The Blue exterior is a striking, high-demand choice in the UAE that maintains strong visibility and resale appeal compared to more common monochromatic tones. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the full local support network and localized cooling systems essential for the region's climate. This is the ideal balance of track-bred performance and the versatile luxury required for daily driving across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2023 Urus S s

With 32,000 km on the odometer, this Urus has covered slightly more than the typical 10,000–12,000 km annual average for luxury GCC vehicles, indicating it has been a reliable companion for cross-emirate commutes. This usage is framed by the robustness of the MLB Evo platform, ensuring the mechanical components are well-settled. The Blue finish is a premium resale color in the local market, offering a sophisticated alternative to white while retaining significant buyer interest.

S vs Lower Trims

The Urus S replaces the original base model for 2023, introducing a significant power bump to 666 CV and a redesigned front bumper with a matte black stainless steel skid plate. Unlike the track-focused Performante, the S trim retains the sophisticated adaptive air suspension, which is highly preferred by GCC buyers for navigating urban speed humps and providing long-distance comfort on the E11. It also features a refined exhaust system that provides a more resonant startup note than earlier versions.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus S leads rivals like the Aston Martin DBX707 and Bentley Bentayga Speed with its unique blend of Italian supercar DNA and daily utility. While the Bentayga focuses on plushness, the Urus offers the ANIMA selector with dedicated SABBIA and NEVE modes, making it far more capable for weekend excursions into the dunes or loose gravel. Its 0–100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds remains a benchmark in the super-SUV category, ensuring it stays ahead of the competition on the highway.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 14.1 L/100km (WLTP combined), though GCC stop-start traffic in downtown Dubai may see higher figures. The car requires 98-octane Super petrol to maintain peak performance. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km or 12 months, and with 32,000 km, this car is approaching its third major service milestone. Authorized Lamborghini service centers are widely available in major GCC hubs including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, ensuring strong long-term value retention.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, the Urus S delivers 850 Nm of torque from just 2,300 rpm, providing effortless overtaking power on high-speed desert roads. The eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with permanent four-wheel drive and active rear torque vectoring for razor-sharp handling despite its SUV proportions. Carbon-ceramic brakes are standard, providing fade-free stopping power that is essential when decelerating from its 305 km/h top speed in high ambient temperatures.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for the extreme GCC summer, featuring a high-capacity climate control system and ventilated front seats as standard equipment. The Lamborghini Infotainment System III (LIS III) utilizes dual touchscreens with haptic feedback, allowing for seamless control of navigation and media. High-quality acoustic glass ensures the cabin remains a quiet sanctuary from wind noise during long-distance drives between Dubai and Muscat.

Safety

This Urus S comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, which are vital for safety on the UAE’s multi-lane highways. The 360-degree camera system and front/rear parking sensors make maneuvering this wide-bodied SUV in tight mall parking lots effortless. Additionally, the active roll stabilization system works continuously to keep the vehicle level during sudden maneuvers, enhancing both safety and passenger comfort.

The bottom line

For the driver who demands the performance of a supercar with the everyday comfort of an executive SUV, this GCC-spec Urus S in Blue is a technically sound and visually stunning choice.
