Summary

This 2023 Lexus LX600 VIP represents the peak of executive off-road luxury, offering a rare four-seat configuration that prioritizes rear-passenger comfort above all else. With only 8,000 km on the odometer, it is an exceptionally low-mileage example that effectively presents as a new vehicle in the GCC market. The black-on-black color combination remains the most prestigious and high-demand choice for resale in the region, ensuring strong value retention for years to come. For the serious GCC buyer, this model provides the legendary durability of the Land Cruiser 300 platform paired with the highest possible Lexus interior finish. It is the definitive choice for those who require a vehicle capable of cross-border desert transit without sacrificing business-class cabin refinement.

This Car vs Other 2023 LX600s

At just 8,000 km, this LX600 has covered significantly less ground than the 20,000–25,000 km typically seen on GCC examples of this age. Its low mileage and immaculate black exterior make it a standout investment in a market that rewards mechanical freshness and classic colors. Finding a VIP trim with such low use is rare, as these are often deployed as high-mileage executive transports.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is a radical departure from the 7-seat Luxury or F Sport models, removing the third row entirely to create a sprawling four-seat sanctuary. It adds exclusive rear-seat features including 48-degree reclining captain's chairs with massage functions, a power-retractable ottoman, and a dedicated rear-seat entertainment system with twin 11.4-inch screens. Unlike lower trims, the VIP also includes a horizontal tilt mechanism for the front passenger headrest to give rear occupants an unobstructed view of the road ahead.

LX600 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and BMW X7 offer more total seating, the LX600 VIP leads the segment in genuine off-road hardware, featuring a low-range transfer case and locking differentials as standard. Its 110-litre fuel tank provides superior range for long-distance desert highway drives compared to the smaller tanks found in European competitors. The Lexus also benefits from a 308 mm maximum ground clearance via its Active Height Control, surpassing most luxury crossovers in pure capability.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus maintains the strongest resale value in the GCC luxury SUV market, typically retaining 60-65% of its value after three years, which outperforms the Mercedes GLS and BMW X7. Real-world fuel economy averages around 13-15L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, benefiting from the efficient 10-speed automatic. With the most extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region, parts availability and expert maintenance are guaranteed even in remote areas.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6 produces a robust 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.9 seconds and effortless highway overtaking at high temperatures. Built on the high-strength GA-F body-on-frame architecture, it handles extreme heat and desert terrain with ease. The Evolved Multi-Terrain Select system allows the driver to toggle between six modes, including Sand and Rock, while Active Height Control optimizes the chassis for everything from high-speed cruising to deep-sand navigation.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat VIP cabin is designed as a mobile office and lounge, featuring four-zone climate control with 'shower' vents that cool the cabin rapidly in the peak of summer. Both the front and rear seats are ventilated and heated, wrapped in premium semi-aniline leather. A 25-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound system provides a theater-like audio experience, while the cooled center console fridge keeps beverages chilled during long inter-emirate trips.

Safety

Equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, this trim includes a 360-degree panoramic view monitor essential for maneuvering a vehicle of this size. Standard safety features include All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and a Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection. The 12-airbag system and blind-spot monitoring provide comprehensive protection for high-speed highway commuting.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a near-new, ultra-low-mileage flagship in the most desirable VIP configuration, offering a level of rear-seat luxury and regional reliability that competitors cannot match.
