Summary

This GCC-spec V 250 offers the rare combination of a fuel-efficient diesel powertrain with an ultra-exclusive Maybach-inspired interior conversion. With mileage sitting right around the expected average for a luxury executive van in the UAE, it has been driven just enough to remain mechanically sound without the wear of a high-mileage shuttle. The black exterior is the most coveted choice for executive transport in the region, ensuring maximum resale demand and heat rejection when paired with professional tinting. For buyers who need to move VIPs or large families between emirates in flagship-level comfort, this AWD edition stands alone in its segment. Ownership is supported by the strongest luxury service network in the Middle East, making it a low-stress alternative to smaller luxury SUVs.

This Car vs Other 2023 V 250s

At 49,000 km, this vehicle sits at a standard usage level for a GCC executive van, where long-distance highway trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi are routine. The black-on-black color scheme is the gold standard for resale value in the local market, commanding a premium over lighter or non-standard fleet colors. Unlike many listings which may be European imports, this genuine GCC-spec unit is fully optimized for the region’s extreme heat and fuel grades.

MAYBACH LUXURY EDITION vs Lower Trims

The Maybach Luxury Edition transforms the standard V-Class cabin into a first-class lounge, adding two massive reclining captain chairs with massage functions and integrated footrests. While lower trims offer standard bench seating, this edition includes a premium Burmester surround sound system, a 360° camera for effortless urban parking, and a dedicated rear refrigerator. You also benefit from the upgraded Maybach-style exterior grille and multi-spoke alloy wheels that provide a far more prestigious road presence.

V 250 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Toyota Alphard or the Lexus LM, the V 250 offers a more robust European driving feel and superior stability at high highway speeds. Its 440 Nm of torque provides better overtaking capability on open desert roads than many naturally aspirated competitors. Furthermore, the Mercedes-Benz service network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia is significantly more established for high-end luxury maintenance than most boutique MPV alternatives.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L diesel engine is exceptionally efficient for long-range cruising, typically averaging between 7.5L and 8.5L/100km on GCC highways, which is nearly 30% more efficient than petrol-powered luxury SUVs. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, with major Service B checks occurring every 30,000 km through authorized centers in the UAE. The Maybach-converted V-Class historically retains its value better than standard vans due to its high demand in the VIP hospitality and executive transport sectors.

Performance & Capability

The 190 hp turbodiesel engine is paired with a smooth 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive, ensuring composed handling during heavy seasonal rains or on gravel approaches to private villas. With 440 Nm of torque available from low RPMs, the V 250 handles a full load of six passengers and their luggage without feeling strained. The AWD system is a significant advantage in the GCC, providing extra grip during high-speed highway tracking and better stability in crosswinds.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring a high-output multi-zone climate control system with dedicated vents for all three rows. The 2+2+2 seating configuration ensures every passenger has individual space, with the middle row enjoying fully ventilated and heated luxury thrones. High-quality quilted leather, ambient lighting with 64 color options, and acoustic glass work together to isolate the cabin from outside noise and desert heat.

Safety

Safety is paramount with a full suite of Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive features, including Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The 360° camera system provides a bird's-eye view, making this large van easy to maneuver in tight mall parking lots. Standard equipment also includes Attention Assist to monitor driver fatigue during long cross-border drives and a comprehensive 7-airbag system.

The bottom line

For the executive who needs a mobile office or the family that demands limousine comfort, this GCC-spec Maybach Edition is the most prestigious and fuel-efficient way to travel the Emirates.
