Summary

This 2023 Carrera S represents a premier opportunity in the GCC market, combining exceptionally low mileage with a highly desirable silver-over-black configuration that historically commands the strongest resale value in the region. As the 'S' variant, it delivers a significant performance leap over the base model, offering the mechanical poise required for both technical driving at the Dubai Autodrome and high-speed stability on the E11. With under 3,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle remains in near-showroom condition, bypassing the initial steep depreciation while retaining its full mechanical integrity. The 992 generation is widely regarded for its perfect balance of daily usability and supercar performance, making it the definitive choice for an enthusiast in the UAE. This GCC-spec example ensures complete compatibility with regional service centers and provides peace of mind regarding cooling systems built for the local climate.

This Car vs Other 2023 911s

While the average annual mileage for performance cars in the GCC typically ranges between 10,000 and 15,000 km, this example has covered just 2,943 km, placing it in the top tier of available inventory for its model year. The silver exterior is a strategic choice for the region, known for its heat-reflective properties and superior resale demand compared to bolder palettes. Choosing a 2023 model ensures you benefit from the latest 992-generation technology and interior refinements while avoiding the waitlists associated with new orders.

CARRERA S vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the Carrera S provides a substantial 64 hp increase over the standard Carrera, reducing the 0–100 km/h time by roughly half a second. Beyond the engine, the S trim adds essential hardware that GCC buyers value, including larger 350 mm brakes for improved heat dissipation and standard 20/21-inch staggered wheels. It also features a more sophisticated chassis setup that offers sharper turn-in and better high-speed composure on long highway stretches.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Aston Martin Vantage or the Audi R8, the 911 offers unmatched daily practicality with its 2+2 seating layout and a front trunk that is better suited for regional road trips. Its flat-six engine provides a unique low-slung center of gravity that leads the segment in cornering stability. Furthermore, Porsche's extensive service presence across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures far easier maintenance than more boutique European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Porsche 911s in the GCC historically retain approximately 65-70% of their value after three years, outperforming most other European sports cars in the region. Maintenance is structured with minor services every 15,000 km or 12 months, with an extensive network of authorized centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the wider GCC. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.4 L/100km, which is efficient for a car of this performance caliber, though stop-start traffic in cities like Riyadh or Dubai will naturally increase this figure.

Performance & Capability

With a top speed of 308 km/h and a rapid 3.5-second sprint to 100 km/h, the Carrera S offers genuine supercar performance. The 8-speed PDK transmission is optimized for the region's diverse driving, providing seamless shifts for cruising between emirates and lightning-fast responses for spirited driving. The rear-wheel-drive layout maintains the classic 911 purity while offering sophisticated traction management for the occasional sand-dusted road surface.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused environment featuring the iconic five-gauge instrument cluster with a central analog tachometer. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is exceptionally robust, and the cabin materials are engineered to withstand prolonged sun exposure. While the rear seats are best suited for additional luggage or small children, they provide a level of versatility rarely found in two-door sports cars, making it a viable grand tourer for weekend trips to Salalah or Al Ain.

Safety

This trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and advanced braking systems designed for high-speed deceleration. Standard features include multiple airbags and high-resolution parking sensors with a camera system, which are essential for navigating tight urban parking in the GCC. The 992 platform's high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid construction provides a rigid safety cell that inspires confidence on fast-moving highways.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a near-new, GCC-spec Carrera S in the region's most resilient resale color, offering the perfect entry point for a serious enthusiast who demands both performance and long-term value.
