Summary

This low-mileage 300-series flagship offers a rare opportunity to own the highest specification of the world’s most trusted 4x4 with just 23,000 km. The black exterior is the most coveted resale color in the GCC, ensuring exceptional value retention for years to come. As the VXR trim, this model represents the absolute pinnacle of Toyota luxury, featuring a level of cabin refinement and safety technology that rivals many executive sedans. For the GCC buyer, this powertrain provides the perfect balance of massive overtaking power for highway drives and high-torque reliability for the deep dunes. It is a complete, go-anywhere family solution that requires no introduction across the Emirates or Saudi Arabia.

This Car vs Other 2023 Land Cruisers

With just 23,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, making it a highly desirable near-new example. The black exterior is a significant advantage in the local used market, consistently commanding higher demand and faster resale compared to niche colors. Choosing a 2023 model ensures you benefit from the latest 300-series platform improvements while avoiding the steep initial depreciation of a brand-new showroom unit.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR is the flagship of the range, adding a 14-speaker JBL premium audio system and a 12.3-inch high-resolution infotainment screen that GXR and EXR models lack. It introduces essential luxury for the GCC climate, including ventilated second-row seats and a four-zone climate control system to keep every passenger comfortable in peak summer. Additionally, the VXR features advanced safety tech like a 360-degree 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor and the full Toyota Safety Sense suite as standard.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

While the Nissan Patrol and Lexus LX are key rivals, the Land Cruiser leads with its massive 110-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance desert expeditions or cross-border travel. Its twin-turbo V6 delivers a refined 409 hp that offers smoother power delivery than the older V8 competitors while maintaining higher fuel efficiency. The Land Cruiser’s specialized Multi-Terrain Select system remains the benchmark for sand driving, outperforming rivals in soft-dune recovery and steep climbs.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo engine offers improved efficiency over the previous generation, averaging approximately 9.4 km/L in mixed GCC conditions. Maintenance is exceptionally straightforward with the most extensive authorized service network in the region, including Al-Futtaim in the UAE and Abdul Latif Jameel in Saudi Arabia. Land Cruisers typically hold roughly 75-80% of their value after three years, representing the strongest value retention of any SUV in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp twin-turbo V6 generates a massive 650 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 6.7 seconds—surprising performance for a vehicle of this size. It features a sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission that keeps the engine in its power band for effortless highway overtaking. With 235 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, it is purpose-built to handle everything from rocky wadis to the softest desert sand.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, you will find three rows of premium leather seating for seven, with power-folding third-row seats for versatile cargo management. The cabin is an oasis against the heat, featuring a high-output air conditioning system with dedicated vents for all rows and a front-center refrigerator for drinks. The VXR trim also includes dual rear entertainment screens to keep family members occupied on long drives across the Emirates.

Safety

This VXR is equipped with 10 airbags and the full Toyota Safety Sense package, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Trace Assist, which are essential for long, fast-moving desert highways. The Pre-Collision System and Blind Spot Monitor provide vital protection in heavy city traffic, while the 360-degree camera makes parking this full-size SUV effortless in tight urban spaces.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the ultimate 'King of the Road' with low mileage and the best possible resale color, this VXR is the definitive choice for luxury and durability.
