Summary

This 2024 BMW X6 M Competition represents the pinnacle of the LCI facelift, featuring the advanced S68 engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology for sharper response. With only 25,027 km, it sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, making it a highly desirable low-mileage example. The Black-on-Black configuration is a perennially strong resale choice in the UAE, offering both a stealthy aesthetic and excellent value retention. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully optimized for the region’s extreme heat with reinforced cooling and specialized trim materials. For a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of supercar performance and SUV practicality in the Gulf, this near-new listing is an exceptional opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2024 X6s

At just two years old with 25,027 km, this X6 has been driven significantly less than the 40,000–50,000 km typical for a car of this age in the highway-heavy GCC market. The black exterior is a primary choice for local buyers, ensuring this car will remain easy to trade or sell in the future. Its low-mileage status offers a distinct mechanical advantage, preserving the longevity of the high-strung V8 powertrain.

M COMPETITION vs Lower Trims

The M Competition sits above the M60i, adding nearly 100 extra horsepower and a dedicated M xDrive system with an Active M Differential. Inside, you gain full Merino leather and the BMW Curved Display as standard, while the exterior is distinguished by 21/22-inch staggered M star-spoke wheels and a quad-exit M Sport exhaust. It also features standard ventilated seats and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, which are frequent paid options on lower trims.

X6 vs Segment Rivals

The X6 M Competition leads the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe in pure agility and infotainment tech, utilizing the ultra-responsive iDrive 8.5 system. Compared to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, the BMW offers a more usable daily cabin and a larger 580-litre boot space for family errands. Its 83-litre fuel tank is specifically beneficial for long-distance cruising between emirates like Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this high-performance V8 typically ranges between 12.5 and 13.0 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may see this rise. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the extensive BMW authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, which helps maintain its premium resale value. Typical depreciation for this flagship trim in the local market is approximately 12–15% annually, outperforming many of its European competitors due to high local demand for the M badge.

Performance & Capability

This X6 M Competition delivers a blistering 0–100 km/h sprint of just 3.9 seconds, a figure that rivals dedicated sports cars. The 617 hp twin-turbo V8 is paired with a rear-biased xDrive system, providing incredible traction on both dusty coastal roads and high-speed highways. With a top speed of 250 km/h and M-tuned adaptive suspension, it offers total composure during long-distance drives across the Gulf.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of high-tech luxury, centered around the massive 14.9-inch curved touchscreen and a dedicated M-specific head-up display. GCC-essential features include multi-zone automatic climate control with powerful cooling and ventilated front seats to combat the summer heat. The 5-seat layout provides ample legroom for passengers, while the acoustic glazing keeps the interior whisper-quiet even at high highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with a full ADAS suite including Forward Collision Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Departure Warning. The standard 360° surround-view camera is particularly helpful for maneuvering this wide-body SUV in tight urban parking spaces. Additionally, BMW's Dynamic Stability Control is expertly tuned to handle the variable grip levels found on sandy or gravel-strewn desert road shoulders.

The bottom line

Perfect for the enthusiast who demands elite performance without sacrificing GCC-ready comfort, this low-mileage 2024 model offers significant savings over a new showroom unit while retaining its most desirable spec.
