Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 LUXE is a standout choice for those seeking a stylish crossover coupe that balances low mileage with exceptional GCC-ready performance. With just under 17,500 km, it sits well below the typical annual usage for the region, ensuring it remains in peak mechanical condition for its next owner. The Hermosa Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains strong appeal in the local pre-owned market, particularly for its ability to mask the fine dust common in our climate. As a premium Japanese offering, it provides a unique blend of high-end cabin materials and a specialized Variable Compression engine that rivals German competitors on highway refinement. For the GCC buyer, this represents a modern, under-warranty alternative to the standard SUV silhouette without compromising on daily practicality.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

With only 17,498 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen across the UAE. Its low mileage ensures that major mechanical components, including the advanced VC-Turbo system, are in excellent health. The Hermosa Blue finish is a distinctive and highly desirable choice in the GCC, offering better long-term resale stability compared to non-standard or matte colors.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

As the entry point to the QX55 range, the LUXE trim still offers high-value features that GCC buyers prioritize, including leather upholstery and 20-inch wheels as standard. It includes the ProPILOT Assist suite, providing intelligent cruise control and lane keep assist, which are essential for long commutes between Emirates. Unlike the QX50, the QX55 LUXE comes standard with all-wheel drive, providing superior stability on loose gravel or sandy highway shoulders.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The QX55 leads competitors like the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe by offering a larger 762-litre boot space with the rear seats in place, making it more practical for family road trips. Its innovative Variable Compression (VC) Turbo engine is designed to deliver V6-like power while maintaining 4-cylinder efficiency during steady-state highway cruising. Furthermore, the extensive service network for Infiniti across the UAE and Saudi Arabia provides a more convenient ownership experience than boutique European brands.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a luxury crossover, averaging approximately 9.4 L/100km on long highway stretches like the E11, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai will see this rise. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a localized cooling system and retains its value far better than imported American or European models. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km at authorized centers, with parts being readily available across all major GCC cities, ensuring long-term maintenance costs remain predictable.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L VC-Turbo engine produces a robust 268 hp and 380 Nm of torque, allowing for a competitive 0–100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds. This power is delivered through an intelligent All-Wheel Drive system that helps the car stay planted during sudden summer rain or on sandy secondary roads. It offers a top speed of 220 km/h, providing ample headroom for confident overtaking on high-speed desert highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a dual-zone automatic temperature control system that rapidly cools the interior even after being parked in direct sunlight. While the QX55 has a coupe-like roofline, it surprisingly offers class-leading rear legroom, ensuring adult passengers remain comfortable on drives to Oman or Abu Dhabi. The interior is finished in premium leather with acoustic glass to insulate the cabin from external wind and road noise at high speeds.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus with the standard ProPILOT Assist suite, which includes predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, and rear automatic braking. These systems are particularly valuable on multi-lane highways where fast-moving traffic requires constant vigilance. The vehicle is also equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and electronic stability control specifically tuned for varied road surfaces, providing peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the aesthetic of a luxury coupe with the height and AWD security of an SUV, this low-mileage 2024 QX55 is a smart, market-ready choice that offers excellent value retention.
