Infiniti QX55 LUXE 2.0

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 7.1 seconds
• 218 mm minimum ground clearance
• 8.6 L/100km combined fuel consumption

Summary

This 2024 QX55 LUXE is a rare find in the GCC market, showing just 10 km on the odometer and presenting a factory-fresh opportunity for a vehicle only 2 years into its life cycle. Its Grey exterior is a highly desirable shade for regional resale, offering excellent heat reflection and long-term aesthetic durability. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for local conditions, featuring a cooling system and air conditioning hardware specifically designed for peak summer performance. In a segment dominated by traditional boxy shapes, this crossover coupe stands out with its sloping roofline and athletic stance, making it a stylish alternative to the BMW X4 or Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. For the discerning buyer, this listing offers the peace of mind of a virtually new vehicle supported by Infiniti's established service network across the UAE and KSA.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

With only 10 km driven, this vehicle sits significantly below the typical GCC average for a 2-year-old car, which usually covers 40,000 to 50,000 km in this time. It effectively represents a showroom-condition example, bypassing the initial depreciation hit while maintaining the mechanical integrity of a new car. The Grey finish is a strategic choice for the region, balancing executive style with the high resale demand common in major hubs like Dubai and Riyadh.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

The LUXE trim serves as the premium entry point for the QX55, already including high-demand features like a power moonroof, 20-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Unlike lower crossover tiers, it comes standard with the VC-Turbo engine, providing identical power to the top-spec Sensory trim. It also includes wireless smartphone integration and remote engine start, which is essential for pre-cooling the cabin during intense GCC summers.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The QX55 leads many European rivals with its unique Variable Compression Turbo technology, which adjusts the compression ratio on the fly to balance efficiency and power. Against the BMW X4 and Audi Q5 Sportback, it offers a more generous ground clearance of 218 mm, making it better suited for navigating high speed bumps and uneven sand-drifted coastal roads. Its dual-screen infotainment layout provides a dedicated display for navigation, a feature often locked behind expensive option packages in competitor models.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 8.6 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city driving in heavy traffic may see this rise slightly. Infiniti maintains a strong authorized service presence through Arabian Automobiles in the UAE and Al Ghassan Motors in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability is high. The QX55 typically sees a depreciation rate of 12-15% annually, which is competitive for the luxury crossover coupe segment, especially for GCC-spec models which hold value better than non-regional imports.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this crossover is the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine, which delivers a quick 0-100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on multi-lane highways like the E11. The intelligent CVT is tuned for smooth power delivery, minimizing shift shock during city commutes. With a 60-liter fuel tank, it offers a substantial cruising range for long-distance drives between emirates or across borders, while the 218 mm ground clearance provides extra confidence when leaving the tarmac for light gravel paths.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around a driver-centric cockpit featuring high-quality leather-appointed seating for four. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, engineered to reach cabin-wide cooling rapidly even after the vehicle has been parked in direct sunlight. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated air vents and a sliding second row that allows for either increased legroom or expanded cargo space. The acoustic glass and heavy insulation ensure a quiet environment, shielding occupants from the wind noise common during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the LUXE trim, featuring the ProPILOT Assist suite which includes adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance—ideal for reducing fatigue on long desert stretches. It is equipped with blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert, vital for navigating fast-moving GCC traffic. Additionally, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection and multiple airbags, including driver and passenger knee airbags, provide a high level of protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a buyer seeking a showroom-condition crossover coupe that balances striking design with proven GCC-ready reliability. Its negligible mileage and regional specification make it one of the most secure luxury purchases currently available in the used market.
