Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 LUXE represents a smart acquisition for buyers seeking the striking silhouette of a coupe-crossover with the practical benefits of all-wheel drive. With mileage tracking remarkably low against the typical GCC annual average, this vehicle offers a nearly-new mechanical profile in the most popular resale color for the region. The variable-compression turbo engine provides a sophisticated balance of highway passing power and city efficiency, standing out from traditional crossovers with its athletic stance. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the local climate, ensuring reliable cooling and full manufacturer support across the Emirates. For the buyer who values design and modern tech without the steep depreciation of the top-tier trims, this LUXE model hits the sweet spot.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

With just over 32,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 50,000 km typically expected for a one-year-old car in the GCC. The White exterior is the highest-demand color in the local market, ensuring it remains easier to trade or sell than darker alternatives. Choosing this specific unit allows you to skip the initial steep depreciation hit while maintaining the visual presence and tech of the current model year.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the QX55, the LUXE is anything but entry-level, featuring standard leather upholstery and 20-inch wheels that smaller SUVs usually charge extra for. It includes the essential GCC-priority features like a power liftgate and a sunroof, while forgoing the more complex sensory electronics of higher trims that can increase long-term maintenance needs. You get the same powerful VC-Turbo engine and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive found in the most expensive versions.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The QX55 offers a more distinctive coupe-like roofline compared to the more conservative BMW X3 or Audi Q5, appealing to those who prioritize style. It leads many rivals in standard wheel size and interior screen real estate, utilizing a dual-display setup that separates navigation from media controls. Its variable compression engine technology is a unique engineering feat, designed to mimic the efficiency of a smaller engine during steady GCC highway cruising.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a premium SUV, averaging approximately 9.4 L/100km, which is beneficial for the long-distance commutes common between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Infiniti enjoys a robust authorized service network across the UAE and the wider GCC, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible. While European rivals often see sharper value drops, this GCC-spec Infiniti benefits from a stable secondary market and lower scheduled maintenance costs over the first three years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine delivers a punchy 268 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 7.1 seconds for confident merging into fast-moving highway traffic. With standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and 218 mm of ground clearance, it handles gravel tracks and weekend escapes to the wadis with more composure than a standard sedan. The engine physically changes its compression ratio in real-time to prioritize either performance or fuel economy depending on your throttle input.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five passengers, featuring leather-appointed seating and a dual-zone climate control system engineered to withstand 45°C+ summer peaks. Active Noise Cancellation keeps the interior hushed during long desert highway drives, while the sliding and reclining second row provides flexible legroom that rivals larger SUVs. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure your navigation and media are seamlessly integrated into the dual-touchscreen cockpit.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with the ProPILOT Assist suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance that reduces driver fatigue on long cross-emirate journeys. It features blind-spot intervention and forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, critical for navigating congested city traffic. The standard rear parking sensors and high-definition camera provide the visibility needed for tight urban parking in the region's malls and towers.

The bottom line

For the style-conscious driver who wants a modern, low-mileage luxury crossover with the peace of mind of GCC specifications, this QX55 LUXE is the ideal balance of prestige and value.
