Infiniti QX55 LUXE 2.0

Highlights

• Most advanced ADAS standard
• Top-tier audio system standard
• Lowest depreciation in class

Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 in the LUXE trim represents a rare opportunity to own a virtually new vehicle with delivery mileage in the highly desirable GCC specification. As a crossover coupe, it bridges the gap between a sleek fastback silhouette and the practical elevated stance of an SUV, making it a standout choice for style-conscious professionals in the UAE. The black exterior is not only a classic aesthetic choice but also maintains one of the strongest resale values in the local market, ensuring your investment remains protected over time. Compared to rivals that often feel generic, this model offers a distinct Japanese luxury experience characterized by meticulous interior craftsmanship and a unique variable compression turbocharged engine. Given that this is a current model year vehicle with only 50 km on the odometer, it avoids the steep initial depreciation while offering the full peace of mind that comes with a fresh factory-backed history. For a buyer looking to skip the showroom wait times while securing a premium, regional-spec vehicle, this listing is currently one of the most competitive options available in the GCC market.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

With just 50 km on the clock, this vehicle is effectively in showroom condition, significantly undercutting the average GCC annual mileage which typically ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km. While other 2024 models on the used market may have already seen several months of daily commuting between Emirates, this unit offers a 'wrapper-fresh' experience. The black exterior is a high-demand color in the region, often commanding a quicker sale and better price retention than more niche shades. Choosing a vehicle with such low mileage ensures that all mechanical components, from the suspension bushings to the cooling system, are at their absolute peak performance. It represents the closest possible experience to a brand-new purchase but with the immediate availability that local dealerships cannot always guarantee. This specific unit stands out as a top-tier choice for those who prioritize a pristine service history and a vehicle that hasn't yet faced the rigors of a full GCC summer season.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

The LUXE trim serves as a sophisticated entry into the world of Infiniti's crossover coupes, providing a wealth of standard features that are often expensive options on competing European models. While it maintains the sleek exterior lines shared across the range, the LUXE package focuses on delivering essential luxury and technology that GCC drivers value most. You receive the advanced ProPILOT Assist suite as standard, which is a massive advantage for those regularly navigating the E11 or other major highways. Inside, the cabin is upgraded with genuine leather-appointed seating and a power-sliding tinted glass moonroof that adds an airy feel to the interior. The inclusion of a 360-degree Monitor with Moving Object Detection is a significant step up from basic sensors, making parking in tight urban spaces much safer. Furthermore, the LUXE trim includes the premium Bose Performance Series audio system, ensuring that your commute is accompanied by studio-quality sound, a feature often reserved for the highest price brackets in this segment.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The QX55 competes in a crowded field against the likes of the BMW X4 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, yet it carves out a niche by offering superior standard technology and a more comfortable ride quality. While German rivals often lean toward a stiffer, sport-oriented suspension, the Infiniti is tuned to glide over road imperfections, making it a better companion for the long-distance drives common across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine is a marvel of engineering that its competitors cannot match, physically changing its compression ratio to prioritize either power or efficiency depending on your driving style. In terms of cabin cooling, a vital factor in the GCC, Infiniti’s air conditioning systems are historically more robust and faster to reach ambient temperatures than many European counterparts. Additionally, the QX55 offers a more generous standard feature set at this trim level, meaning you don't have to navigate a complex and expensive options list to get the safety and comfort tech you desire. The boot space is also surprisingly competitive for a coupe-styled SUV, offering more practical daily utility than many of its more expensive rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of an Infiniti in the GCC is characterized by reliability and a well-established support network, with authorized service centers readily available across all major cities in the UAE, Kuwait, and Oman. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is designed to run efficiently on local petrol grades, with real-world fuel consumption being particularly impressive on the highway, where the variable compression technology shines. Maintenance intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km, and parts availability is high, keeping long-term servicing costs predictable and lower than many European luxury brands. Historically, the QX55 holds its value well in the local market, with depreciation rates for GCC-spec models averaging around 12-15% in the first year, which is significantly better than some luxury competitors that can see 20% drops. Because this is a black, GCC-spec vehicle with delivery mileage, it sits at the very top of the resale desirability curve. Buyers can expect strong interest should they choose to sell in three to five years, especially given the brand's reputation for longevity in high-heat environments. This car offers a balanced financial profile, combining a premium brand image with the sensible running costs of a modern, efficient powertrain.

Performance & Capability

At the heart of the QX55 is the world’s first production Variable Compression Turbo engine, which delivers a seamless blend of performance and economy. On the fast-moving highways of the GCC, this engine provides ample torque for confident overtaking, while the smooth Automatic transmission ensures a refined experience in stop-start city traffic. As a front-wheel-drive crossover, it is optimized for urban efficiency and highway stability, offering a lighter and more agile feel than heavier all-wheel-drive alternatives. The 5-door configuration provides excellent accessibility, while the 2.0-liter displacement keeps registration and insurance costs within a very reasonable bracket for a luxury vehicle. With a respectable ground clearance for its class, it handles speed bumps and minor road imperfections with ease, providing that commanding SUV view of the road that buyers in this region prefer. While it is designed primarily for tarmac, its robust cooling system is built to handle the extreme heat of a Gulf summer without any loss in performance. It is a vehicle that feels just as comfortable cruising between Emirates at speed as it does navigating the busy streets of Downtown Dubai.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the QX55 is a sanctuary designed for the GCC’s demanding climate, featuring a dual-zone automatic temperature control system that is exceptionally powerful. The 4-seat configuration ensures that every passenger has a premium experience with ample shoulder and legroom, avoiding the cramped feeling often found in 5-seat compact crossovers. Noise insulation is a priority in this model, with active noise cancellation technology working to keep the cabin quiet even at high highway speeds. The seats are ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue on long journeys, such as the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi or Muscat. The dual-screen infotainment system allows for seamless integration of navigation and media, while the premium materials used throughout the LUXE cabin provide a tactile sense of quality. Rear passengers are not forgotten, with dedicated air vents to ensure consistent cooling throughout the vehicle during the peak summer months. The power liftgate adds a layer of convenience for daily errands, revealing a cargo area that is surprisingly versatile for a vehicle with such a dramatic roofline.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the 2024 QX55 LUXE, which comes equipped with an array of intelligent systems designed to protect you in the unique driving conditions of the Middle East. Standard features include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which can actually monitor the speed and distance of two vehicles ahead, providing an extra layer of reaction time on busy multi-lane roads. Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are essential for navigating the high-speed traffic flows of the UAE, while the Lane Departure Warning helps keep you centered during long desert stretches. The vehicle also features a comprehensive airbag system and a reinforced chassis that has contributed to its high safety ratings globally. For families, the ISOFIX tethers are easy to access, and the overall stability control system is tuned to provide maximum grip on both hot asphalt and occasional sandy surfaces. This suite of active safety tech is often sold as an optional extra by competitors, but in the LUXE trim, it is integrated as standard to provide total peace of mind.

The bottom line

This is the perfect choice for a professional or small family looking for the style of a luxury coupe with the practicality of a GCC-hardened SUV. With delivery mileage and a high-resale color specification, it is perhaps the most sensible way to buy into the 2024 Infiniti range today.
