Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 in the ESSENTIAL trim represents a rare opportunity to own a virtually brand-new vehicle with delivery-level mileage, offering a significant advantage over typical pre-owned listings in the UAE. As a GCC-spec model, it is perfectly adapted for the regional climate and remains under full local support, providing peace of mind that American or European imports cannot match. The QX55 stands out in the crowded crossover segment by blending a provocative coupe-inspired silhouette with the practical ride height of an SUV, making it a stylish choice for those who find traditional SUVs too boxy. This specific listing is particularly attractive due to its low usage, ensuring the interior and mechanical components are in pristine, showroom condition. The blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that holds its appeal well in the secondary market, especially for premium Japanese brands known for their reliability. For a GCC buyer, this vehicle offers the ideal balance of luxury, modern technology, and the long-term value retention associated with the Infiniti brand in the Middle East. It is a compelling alternative to European rivals, offering more standard features and a lower cost of long-term ownership without sacrificing presence or performance.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

With only 50 km on the odometer, this vehicle is essentially a new car without the initial depreciation hit of a first-owner registration. While the average 2024 model in the GCC might already have covered 10,000 to 15,000 km in its first few months due to the long-distance nature of commuting between emirates like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this example has barely left the showroom floor. This extremely low mileage means all consumables, from the tires to the brake pads, are at 100% life, providing a worry-free ownership experience for several years. The Blue exterior is a refreshing and premium alternative to the common white or silver cars found on the road, yet it remains a highly desirable color that supports strong resale value in the local market. Choosing this specific car over others with higher mileage ensures you are getting the freshest possible mechanical state, which is vital for maintaining the longevity of the advanced variable compression engine. It is a standout listing that caters to the most discerning buyers who prioritize a 'like-new' condition above all else.

ESSENTIAL vs Lower Trims

The ESSENTIAL trim is a significant leap forward in luxury and technology compared to the base LUXE variant, adding features that are highly valued in the GCC's demanding climate. One of the most critical upgrades is the inclusion of ventilated front seats, a feature that becomes an absolute necessity during the intense summer months when temperatures frequently exceed 45°C. Additionally, the ESSENTIAL trim introduces a superior 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, making parking in tight mall spaces or navigating busy urban streets much safer and more convenient. You also benefit from a premium Bose Performance Series audio system, which transforms the cabin into a private concert hall, effectively drowning out road noise during long highway hauls. The interior materials are also upgraded, featuring higher-quality leather and more intricate trim finishes that elevate the overall premium feel. This trim level also includes enhanced navigation and connectivity features, ensuring you are always on the fastest route across the region's rapidly evolving road networks.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX55 competes in the highly contested luxury compact crossover segment, primarily going up against the BMW X4 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. Where the QX55 leads its German rivals is in the sheer amount of standard equipment provided at this price point; features that are often expensive options on European cars, such as advanced driver assistance systems and premium leather, are standard here. The Infiniti's cabin cooling system is also widely regarded as being more robust and better suited for the extreme heat of the Arabian Peninsula, cooling down the interior significantly faster than many European counterparts. Furthermore, the QX55 offers a more generous cargo area compared to the X4, despite its sloping roofline, making it more practical for weekend getaways or large shopping trips to the Dubai Mall. The unique Variable Compression Turbo engine also provides a unique blend of power and efficiency that many competitors struggle to match without moving to much more expensive six-cylinder variants. For the GCC driver who wants a car that looks like a concept vehicle but functions with the reliability of a Japanese brand, the QX55 is the clear winner.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning a GCC-spec Infiniti QX55 comes with the advantage of a widespread and highly professional service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC region. The 2.0L VC-Turbo engine is designed to run efficiently on local fuel grades, delivering impressive highway economy during long drives from Dubai to Muscat or Riyadh. Real-world fuel consumption remains competitive for its class, especially given the car's ability to adjust its compression ratio for better fuel saving in stop-start city traffic. Maintenance intervals are predictable, and because parts are widely available through authorized distributors like Al Masaood or Arabian Automobiles, the long-term running costs are generally lower than those of European luxury brands. Historically, Infiniti models in the GCC retain their value well, typically seeing a depreciation rate of approximately 12-15% annually, which is superior to many high-end rivals. This vehicle's status as a GCC-spec car ensures that it will always be more desirable on the used market compared to imported 'salvage title' or 'non-spec' cars, protecting your investment for years to come.

Performance & Capability

At the heart of the QX55 is the innovative 2.0-liter Variable Compression Turbo engine, which is a world-first technology that physically changes its reach to prioritize either maximum power or maximum efficiency. This means when you are overtaking on the E11 highway, the engine delivers punchy acceleration that feels much more substantial than a typical four-cylinder, while at cruising speeds, it sips fuel like a smaller economy car. The smooth automatic transmission is tuned for comfort, providing a seamless driving experience that is perfect for both the daily office commute and long-distance road trips across the emirates. With its front-wheel-drive configuration, the car is lighter and more agile in urban environments, making it incredibly easy to maneuver through heavy traffic in Downtown Dubai. The ground clearance is ample for navigating speed bumps and the occasional unpaved gravel road leading to a beach or a suburban villa. This is a vehicle designed for the modern paved landscape of the GCC, offering a sophisticated and refined ride quality that isolates the cabin from external road noise and vibrations.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the QX55 ESSENTIAL is a masterclass in driver-centric design, featuring a dual-screen infotainment system that keeps navigation and media controls separated for easier use while driving. The seating capacity is designed for four adults to travel in absolute comfort, with the rear seats offering surprising headroom despite the stylish coupe roofline. In the GCC, the powerful air conditioning system is a standout feature, quickly neutralizing the midday heat and maintaining a crisp, cool environment even when parked in the sun. The cabin is insulated with acoustic glass, making it one of the quietest in its class, which allows the Bose audio system to truly shine. High-quality materials cover every touchpoint, from the soft-touch dashboard to the premium leather-appointed seats, ensuring a tactile sense of luxury every time you enter the vehicle. Large door openings and a convenient hip-point height make entering and exiting the vehicle effortless, which is a subtle but appreciated luxury in daily use. Whether you are stuck in rush hour traffic or cruising at midnight, the cabin remains a serene and luxurious sanctuary.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the Infiniti brand, and the QX55 ESSENTIAL comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of ProPILOT Assist technologies that are particularly useful on the GCC's fast-moving multi-lane highways. Standard features include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which can monitor the speed and distance of not just the car in front of you, but the one in front of that as well, providing an extra layer of reaction time in sudden traffic halts. Blind Spot Intervention and Lane Departure Prevention are vital for safely navigating the high-speed lane changes common in regional traffic. The car also features an advanced airbag system and a reinforced body structure that has earned it top marks in international safety testing, including a 5-Star rating. For families, the ISOFIX tethers are easily accessible, and the rear cross-traffic alert makes reversing out of driveway or parking spots significantly safer. This level of integrated safety tech is often an added cost on competitors, but here it is standard, reflecting Infiniti's commitment to protecting its passengers in all driving conditions.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 2024 Infiniti QX55 ESSENTIAL is the perfect choice for a style-conscious professional or a small family who wants the prestige and technology of a new car without the showroom price tag. Given its delivery mileage and high trim level, it represents one of the strongest value propositions currently available in the regional used car market.
