Summary

This 2024 JS3 Comfort offers a modern, tech-focused experience for those looking for a practical urban SUV without the steep price tag. As a late-model GCC-spec crossover, it is built to handle local summers with a high-efficiency climate control system and reliable mechanicals. The silver exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, reflecting heat efficiently and maintaining high resale appeal in the local market. For the daily commute or weekend shopping, its class-leading cargo capacity makes it one of the most versatile sub-compact SUVs available. This specific listing provides a nearly-new 2024 experience at a significantly more accessible price point than a showroom model.

This Car vs Other 2024 JS3s

With 72,162 km on the odometer, this JS3 has been used as a primary commuter, placing its mileage slightly above the typical annual average for the UAE. However, being a 2024 model means you benefit from the latest facelift features and interior tech while the initial heavy depreciation has already occurred. The silver finish is one of the most practical colors for the GCC, significantly easier to maintain and cooler in the sun than darker alternatives.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim is a significant step up from the base model, introducing the 10.25-inch high-definition infotainment system that includes essential smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also adds premium touches like a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and upgraded 16-inch alloy wheels that improve both aesthetics and road handling. Crucially for families, this trim includes a reverse camera and rear parking sensors as standard, making urban parking much simpler.

JS3 vs Segment Rivals

The JS3 stands out against rivals like the MG ZS and Changan CS35 Plus primarily through its massive 600-litre trunk, which is significantly larger than most cars in this class. While competitors focus on outright power, the JAC prioritizes a balance of interior volume and fuel efficiency for city driving. Its wheelbase is stretched to maximize rear legroom, offering a more comfortable experience for adult passengers compared to many other sub-compact crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a 5-seater SUV, typically averaging around 7.5 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions. JAC has established a solid service presence in the region through partners like Al Habtoor Motors in the UAE, ensuring parts and expert technicians are readily available. While Chinese brands typically depreciate faster than Japanese equivalents, a 2024 model provides excellent value retention for buyers who plan to keep the vehicle for 3–5 years, as the steepest drop in value has already passed.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre VVT engine delivers a smooth 118 hp, which is perfectly tuned for city commuting and steady highway cruising across the Emirates. Its front-wheel-drive platform and CVT transmission are designed for smoothness and fuel economy rather than off-road speed, making it an ideal choice for the daily school run or office commute. With 200 mm of ground clearance, it handles high speed bumps and uneven urban terrain with more confidence than a standard sedan.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with the GCC climate in mind, featuring a powerful automatic climate control system that reaches the rear seats efficiently. The interior layout is surprisingly spacious, with a flat-bottom steering wheel that adds a sporty touch while providing extra knee room for the driver. High-quality soft-touch materials on the dashboard and 60/40 split-folding rear seats ensure the cabin feels premium while remaining highly functional for carrying large items.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the JS3 Comfort, featuring a comprehensive electronic stability control (ESC) system and a high-intensity steel body structure. It comes standard with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Hill Start Assist, which are particularly useful for maintaining safety during long highway drives or when starting on inclines. Dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors provide the essential protection needed for modern family transport in the GCC.

The bottom line

This 2024 JAC JS3 is the perfect choice for a value-conscious buyer who wants a modern, tech-rich SUV with more cargo space than anything else in its price bracket.
