Summary

This 2024 Jetour X70 Plus LUX represents a significant value opportunity in the GCC family SUV market, offering a high-specification 7-seat cabin at a competitive entry point. As the range-topping LUX trim, it features essential regional upgrades like ventilated seating and an advanced camera system that simplifies parking in tight urban spaces. The black exterior is a perennial favorite for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, maintaining strong visual appeal while the monocoque chassis ensures car-like handling on highway commutes. For buyers moving up from compact crossovers, this model provides the extra row and premium tech suite required for growing families without the typical luxury price tag.

This Car vs Other 2024 X70 Pluses

With approximately 95,999 km, this vehicle has seen active use typical of long-range GCC commuting, often reflecting consistent highway miles between emirates. The black exterior is among the most sought-after colors in the local used market, typically commanding faster resale times than lighter or niche shades. Being a GCC-spec 2024 model, it remains mechanically current with the latest software updates and regional cooling adaptations standard for this generation.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim adds several high-value features that GCC buyers prioritize, most notably the ventilated front seats which are vital for local summer comfort. Unlike the Comfort trim, the LUX includes a 360-degree panoramic camera system and an upgraded digital cockpit that provides a much more premium cabin experience. It also features larger 20-inch alloy wheels and an electric tailgate, which are often the first features checked by second-hand buyers.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The X70 Plus competes directly with the Haval H6 and Changan CS75 Plus, leading the segment in pure physical presence and third-row accessibility. While many rivals in this price bracket offer only 5 seats, the Jetour provides a genuine 7-seat configuration as standard in the LUX trim. It also features a 210 mm ground clearance, which is superior to many road-biased crossovers, offering better protection against high curbs and uneven sand-swept roads.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine typically ranges between 8.5L and 10.5L/100km depending on GCC traffic conditions, proving efficient for a large 7-seater. Jetour has established a massive authorized service presence across the UAE, including the world's largest service center in Dubai, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible. Resale value for the X70 Plus is bolstered by the brand's aggressive 10-year engine warranty, which provides significant peace of mind for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers smooth power delivery through a 7-speed automatic transmission, specifically tuned for steady highway cruising at GCC speed limits. The front-wheel-drive platform is optimized for urban efficiency and long-distance stability, making it an ideal companion for the Dubai-Abu Dhabi run. With a 60-liter fuel tank, the X70 Plus offers a substantial highway range, minimizing stops during cross-border drives or weekend trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is defined by its dual-screen digital layout and premium synthetic leather upholstery that stays cooler than traditional dark hides. A dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents ensures the third row remains comfortable even during peak summer temperatures. The panoramic sunroof features a high-quality tint to allow natural light without excessive heat soak, maintaining a refined interior temperature for all seven passengers.

Safety

The LUX trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning, both of which are highly beneficial for navigating the fast-moving multi-lane highways of the GCC. Standard safety features also include multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and a high-strength steel cage construction designed for family protection. The 360-degree camera is a standout feature, providing a bird's-eye view that is essential for maneuvering this larger SUV in busy residential parking areas.

The bottom line

This Jetour X70 Plus LUX is the ideal choice for a family buyer seeking a high-tech, 7-seat SUV that is already established in the GCC service network and ready for immediate long-distance use.
