Summary

This 2025 Jetour X70 Plus LUX represents a compelling opportunity in the family SUV segment, offering a modern 7-seater configuration with a potent 1.6L turbocharged engine. With 197 horsepower and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it delivers significantly more power than the standard 1.5L variants found in the region. The LUX trim is highly desirable in the GCC as it includes essential climate features like ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera for urban parking. Its white exterior is a top choice for maintaining high resale value in the local market, ensuring it remains a smart investment. For a nearly new vehicle, it provides a high-tech cabin and robust performance perfectly suited for UAE highways.

This Car vs Other 2025 X70 Pluses

At 67,999 km, this X70 Plus has seen active use, reflecting the typical high-mileage lifestyle of family SUVs in the GCC. While the mileage is higher than average for a single year, the vehicle's 2025 model year status ensures it benefits from the latest tech updates and remains a current body style. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region for its heat-reflecting properties and superior resale stability.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is the range-topping specification for the 1.6T powertrain, adding features that GCC buyers prioritize. Unlike the Comfort trim, the LUX includes ventilated front seats and a power rear liftgate, which are essential for comfort and convenience during the summer months. It also upgrades the cabin with a 360-degree panoramic camera system and wireless charging, features that significantly enhance the daily driving experience compared to the base 1.5L models.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The X70 Plus competes directly with the Haval H6 and Changan CS75 Plus, distinguishing itself by offering 7-row seating where many rivals only provide 5. Its 1.6L TGDI engine produces 197 hp, outperforming the base powertrains of the GAC GS5. For family buyers in the GCC, the combination of a usable third row and a more powerful turbocharged engine gives the Jetour a distinct advantage for long-distance travel.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.6L turbocharged engine achieves an official fuel consumption rating of approximately 8.1 L/100km, making it efficient for a 7-seater in stop-start city traffic. Jetour has expanded its authorized service network rapidly across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the high equipment level of the LUX trim helps it retain better value in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6L engine delivers a robust 290 Nm of torque, which is particularly useful for highway overtaking and merging into fast-moving UAE traffic. It features a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides smooth shifts and a top speed of 180 km/h. While it is a road-biased front-wheel-drive SUV, its 210 mm ground clearance allows it to handle gravel paths and uneven terrain with ease during family weekend outings.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a dual 10.25-inch display setup that integrates the digital cockpit and infotainment system. It features a 7-seat layout with flexible folding options to expand the boot space up to 480 liters. Dedicated rear AC vents and the panoramic sunroof ensure a premium atmosphere for all passengers, while the acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from the intense GCC summer heat.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this LUX trim includes a comprehensive suite of active systems such as Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning. These features are vital for navigating multi-lane highways like E11. The vehicle is also equipped with four airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors, providing peace of mind for family-oriented owners in the region.

The bottom line

This 2025 X70 Plus LUX is the ideal choice for a growing family that needs 7 seats and modern tech without the premium price of traditional luxury brands. Its range-topping trim and strong engine make it a standout value in today's used market.
