Summary

This 2024 Urus Performante represents the most track-focused iteration of the world's premier super-SUV, offering a sharper alternative to the standard Urus S. The striking Red exterior is a high-demand choice in the GCC, ensuring strong visual presence and excellent resale liquidity in the local market. As a European spec vehicle, it benefits from the latest technical updates and a premium interior finish that local collectors prioritize. For the UAE buyer, this car bridges the gap between a daily-driver SUV and a genuine supercar performance at the Dubai Autodrome or Yas Marina. With its delivery-ready condition, it avoids the extensive waiting lists typical for new Sant'Agata orders while providing the definitive Urus experience.

This Car vs Other 2024 Urus

While the average GCC annual mileage for high-end SUVs often exceeds 20,000 km, this specific example maintains a lower-than-average usage profile for its model year. The Red exterior is a standout choice in the UAE, offering better resale prospects than niche matte colors that can be harder to maintain in high-temperature environments. As a European spec car, it offers identical mechanical performance to GCC units, though buyers should note it may require independent service contracts for UAE-wide peace of mind.

PERFORMANTE vs Lower Trims

The Performante trim is significantly lighter and more aggressive than the Urus S, featuring a 47kg weight reduction and fixed steel-spring suspension for superior handling. It adds the 'RALLY' drive mode specifically tuned for loose surfaces, alongside extensive carbon fiber detailing on the hood and bumpers that come standard only on this trim. Inside, Alcantara upholstery and Performante-specific stitching provide a more driver-centric cockpit than the leather-focused lower trims.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus Performante leads rivals like the Aston Martin DBX707 and Ferrari Purosangue in pure brand recognition and daily reliability across the GCC. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides a longer range for cross-border trips between Dubai and Muscat compared to more track-limited competitors. Furthermore, the extensive shared parts network with the VW Group ensures better parts availability in the region than boutique luxury marques.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the Performante averages approximately 14.1 L/100km (WLTP), though intensive stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise significantly. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km or 12 months, with authorized service centers readily available in major UAE hubs and across the wider GCC. The Performante trim historically retains value better than the base model, typically seeing a depreciation rate of 12-15% in its first two years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

With a verified 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, the Performante is one of the fastest accelerating SUVs ever built. The 666 hp output and 850 Nm of torque provide effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway, while the Torsen central self-locking differential ensures maximum traction during high-speed cornering. Unlike the air-suspended standard Urus, the Performante uses steel springs for a more direct, mechanical feel that enthusiasts in the region prize.

Comfort & Cabin

Despite its performance focus, the Urus maintains a full five-seat layout with a 616-litre boot, making it genuinely usable for family weekend trips. The powerful Lamborghini climate control system is engineered to handle peak summer temperatures, supported by rear-seat vents and a dedicated digital interface for passenger comfort. The Alcantara-clad interior reduces cabin heat retention compared to full-leather options when parked in the sun.

Safety

The Performante comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. The carbon-ceramic braking system provides exceptional stopping power from its 306 km/h top speed, while standard 360-degree cameras assist with navigating tight urban parking. Stability and traction control systems are specifically recalibrated for this trim to allow for high-performance driving without sacrificing occupant safety.

The bottom line

This Urus Performante is the ultimate choice for the UAE enthusiast who demands supercar agility without sacrificing the utility of a five-door SUV. It is a high-liquidity asset that offers immediate delivery in the market's most iconic performance specification.
