Mitsubishi Attrage GLX 2024 | GCC Speces | Good Condition

Highlights

• 4.8 L/100km combined fuel consumption
• 450 litres boot space
• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This Mitsubishi Attrage GLX is a standout choice for city commuters, offering exceptional fuel efficiency that ranks among the best in the GCC sub-compact segment. With just under 60,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than typical high-use cars in the region, promising a longer mechanical lifespan. The Titanium Grey metallic finish is a highly practical choice for the local climate, showing less dust and maintaining strong resale appeal across the UAE and wider GCC. For buyers prioritizing a reliable daily driver with minimal running costs, this Attrage combines Japanese engineering with a proven ability to handle extreme summer heat.

This Car vs Other 2024 Attrages

At 59,315 km, this vehicle has been driven less than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market, marking it as a relatively low-use example for its year. While many Attrages in the region are deployed for high-intensity fleet or delivery work, this unit displays a mileage profile more consistent with private ownership. The grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand shade in the local used market, which typically aids in a faster and more stable resale compared to niche colors.

GLX vs Lower Trims

The GLX trim provides essential upgrades over basic fleet variants, including keyless entry and power-operated side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Unlike the entry-level models often found in rental fleets, the GLX includes a tachometer and a more refined 4-speaker audio system. These features, along with body-colored exterior accents, make it a more desirable choice for private buyers looking for a complete daily commuter package.

Attrage vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Yaris and Kia Pegas, the Attrage leads the segment in outright fuel economy, achieving up to 20.8 km/L which significantly reduces monthly fuel spend in stop-start traffic. While rivals may offer larger engines, the Attrage’s lightweight 915 kg chassis makes it more agile in tight urban environments like Dubai and Riyadh. Its 450-liter boot space is also surprisingly competitive, offering more cargo capacity than many larger, more expensive hatchbacks.

Running Costs & Resale

The Attrage is renowned in the GCC for its incredibly low cost of ownership, requiring only basic 10,000 km service intervals that are affordable at any Mitsubishi authorized center across the UAE, KSA, and Oman. Its 1.2-litre engine is designed for efficiency, officially rated at 4.8 L/100km, which translates to massive savings during long-distance drives between emirates. Historically, Japanese compact sedans like this maintain a strong 70-80% value retention over the first three years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine produces a reliable 78 hp, paired with a smooth CVT that is optimized for fuel-sipping city driving rather than raw speed. A top speed of 170 km/h ensures it can comfortably maintain pace on major UAE highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The tight 4.8-meter turning radius makes it one of the easiest cars to park in crowded residential areas and shopping mall basements.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with GCC summers in mind, featuring a powerful air conditioning system that is legendary for its cooling speed even when the car has been parked in direct sun. It seats five passengers comfortably, with fabric upholstery that remains cool to the touch during peak heat months. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the interior offers clever storage solutions and sufficient legroom for daily family duties or school runs.

Safety

Safety is managed by Mitsubishi's Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction, which effectively absorbs energy during a collision. Standard safety features for this GCC-spec GLX include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a driver-side airbag, and Active Stability Control (ASC) to maintain traction on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces.

The bottom line

Perfect for the budget-conscious commuter or a small family, this low-mileage 2024 Attrage offers the ultimate combination of Japanese reliability and class-leading fuel economy in the GCC market.
