Tesla Model 3 STANDARD RANGE

Highlights

• 534 km electric range (WLTP)
• 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds
• Up to 170 kW peak DC charging

Summary

This 2024 model represents the significant 'Highland' refresh, offering a much quieter and more refined cabin than its predecessors. With just 13,000 km, this vehicle is barely broken in, offering a nearly new experience at a significant advantage over showroom prices. The grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the GCC, hiding desert dust well while maintaining strong resale demand in the local market. As an electric sedan, it stands out for its unmatched software integration and charging infrastructure, making it the most seamless EV to own in the region today. For a UAE or wider GCC buyer, the standard ventilated seats and upgraded suspension are essential upgrades that make summer commuting far more comfortable.

This Car vs Other 2024 Model 3s

At 13,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, making it a low-mileage standout in the used market. The Stealth Grey paint is a premium shade that performs exceptionally well for resale in the UAE compared to more niche colors. Choosing this slightly used example avoids the steep initial depreciation while retaining the bulk of the manufacturer's new-vehicle warranty.

STANDARD RANGE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the 'Highland' generation, this model already includes premium features that were previously options, such as ventilated front seats and a dedicated 8-inch rear passenger touchscreen. It features the updated 9-speaker audio system and acoustic glass on all windows, which significantly reduces highway wind noise. While higher trims offer more range, this trim provides the best balance of efficiency and modern tech for daily city commuting.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

The Model 3 leads rivals like the BMW i4 and Hyundai Ioniq 6 specifically through its seamless access to the Tesla Supercharger network across the UAE and GCC. Its minimalist interior and class-leading software interface provide a more future-proof feeling than traditional luxury sedans. Additionally, the Highland update gives it a ride quality and cabin quietness that now genuinely competes with established European executive cars.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency is impressive at approximately 13.0 kWh/100km, making it one of the most cost-effective vehicles to operate in stop-start Dubai or Riyadh traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full warranty support and regional parts availability through authorized Tesla Centres in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across Saudi Arabia. While EVs face higher initial depreciation, the Model 3 maintains the strongest value retention in its segment due to high local demand for the refreshed Highland design.

Performance & Capability

A 0–100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds ensures effortless merging onto fast-moving GCC highways, while the instant torque provides immediate response for city overtaking. The top speed is electronically limited to 201 km/h, more than sufficient for regional speed limits. The rear-wheel-drive configuration paired with the updated frequency-selective damping suspension offers a composed, comfortable ride that handles uneven road surfaces better than the pre-2024 models.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is specifically designed for hot climates, featuring powerful dual-zone climate control and ventilated front seats as standard to combat the summer heat. The all-glass roof is UV-protected and highly insulated, while the 15.4-inch central display manages all vehicle functions with zero lag. Rear passengers enjoy their own climate vents and a dedicated screen for entertainment and seat heating controls, making it a true 5-seater for family use.

Safety

This trim includes the full suite of active safety systems, including Autopilot, which provides traffic-aware cruise control and autosteer for long desert highway drives. Standard safety tech features emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with camera visuals, and lane departure avoidance. With a 5-star safety rating and 360-degree camera coverage, it offers some of the highest levels of occupant protection available in the sedan segment.

The bottom line

This low-mileage Highland refresh is the ideal choice for a tech-focused professional looking for the most refined EV experience in the GCC without the new-car price tag. It combines excellent regional suitability with the peace of mind of a valid GCC manufacturer warranty.
