Summary

This 2025 Competition M xDrive Convertible is a high-impact performance offering, showing just 14,311 km on the odometer after 1 years of use. For a GCC-based car, this mileage is notably low, as local vehicles often cover twice this distance annually on major highways. The Green exterior is a bold, enthusiast-driven choice that stands out in a market dominated by grayscale tones, often commanding a specific premium among M-car collectors. As the updated 2025 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) model, it features the refined headlight design and a meaningful power bump over earlier versions. For the UAE and wider GCC, the sophisticated xDrive system ensures this 523 hp machine remains composed and predictable even on sand-dusted asphalt or during sudden seasonal rains.

This Car vs Other 2025 M4s

With only 14,311 km, this M4 has been driven significantly less than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC. The Green paintwork is a rare 'BMW Individual' style choice that traditionally holds interest better than standard fleet colors in the regional enthusiast market. Being a 1-year-old vehicle, it retains the balance of its manufacturer's support and presents in near-showroom mechanical state.

COMPETITION M XDRIVE vs Lower Trims

The Competition M xDrive is the peak of the M4 range, adding 50 hp over the base manual model and introducing the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system essential for managing high torque on hot road surfaces. This trim upgrades the cabin with the 14.9-inch Curved Display and adds M-specific forged wheels (19-inch front/20-inch rear) as standard. It also includes the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, which provides the rapid shifts required for its sub-4-second acceleration.

M4 vs Segment Rivals

The M4 leads rivals like the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS5 with its sophisticated 'xDrive' system that can be switched to pure rear-wheel drive for track use. Its soft-top roof is engineered for superior heat insulation compared to older folding hard-tops, making it remarkably capable of maintaining cabin temperatures in 45 degree GCC summers. The S58 inline-six engine is widely regarded for its cooling efficiency, a critical factor for sustained performance in the Middle Eastern climate.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 10.3 L/100km, though this will rise in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a robust authorized service network including AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors in the UAE, and Naghi Motors in Saudi Arabia. The M4 Convertible historically sees a depreciation of roughly 12–15% in its first two years in the GCC, performing well against other high-end European performance cars. Value retention is further bolstered by the presence of a valid regional warranty and service history.

Performance & Capability

With a verified 0–100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds, this M4 offers supercar-level acceleration that remains accessible thanks to the xDrive system. The adaptive M suspension allows the driver to soften the ride for long Emirates Road cruises or stiffen it for technical driving at the Dubai Autodrome. The 2025 model's power increase to 523 hp ensures it stays ahead of previous generations, providing effortless overtaking power at highway speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features a driver-centric layout with 4-way adjustable M Sport seats and high-grade leather as standard. A critical feature for the GCC is the powerful tri-zone climate control system, often paired with neck-warmers for winter evening drives and high-output cooling for the summer. The cabin is dominated by the BMW Curved Display, which integrates a 12.3-inch cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen, providing seamless wireless smartphone integration.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes BMW's Active Guard suite with Frontal Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking. For the fast-moving, multi-lane highways of the GCC, the Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning systems provide essential layers of protection. The convertible model also features reinforced A-pillars and an integrated rollover protection system to ensure coupe-like safety standards in an open-top format.

The bottom line

This is a low-mileage, latest-spec 2025 M4 Competition that bypasses the initial depreciation hit while offering the full performance upgrades of the LCI refresh. It is the ideal choice for a GCC buyer seeking a daily-drivable supercar that handles the local climate as well as it handles the track.
