Summary

This 2025 BMW X4 M Competition is effectively a new vehicle with just 600 km on the odometer, offering a massive saving over showroom sticker prices. As the final model year for this generation, it represents the peak of the S58 engine's development, delivering supercar-rivaling performance in a versatile SUV body. The Marina Bay Blue exterior is a highly desirable color in the GCC, known for its strong resale demand and ability to hide light desert dust. For the UAE or Saudi buyer, this is a rare chance to own a delivery-mileage example of a discontinued performance icon. It effortlessly balances the aggression of a track car with the cooling and comfort required for a Dubai-to-Muscat highway run.

This Car vs Other 2025 X4s

With only 600 km, this vehicle is significantly below the 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, essentially offering a 'new car' experience. Its blue metallic finish is a premier choice in the local market, holding value better than niche colors while standing out more than standard white. In a region where high-mileage examples are common due to long inter-city drives, this ultra-low mileage listing is a standout investment.

M COMPETITION vs Lower Trims

The M Competition sits at the top of the hierarchy, adding 30 hp over the standard X4 M and a significant performance jump over the M40i. It features 21-inch forged wheels, an M Sport exhaust system, and M Multi-function seats with Merino leather as standard. For the GCC, the key advantage is the inclusion of enhanced cooling systems and a more sophisticated M xDrive system with a rear-bias for superior high-speed stability on hot desert highways.

X4 vs Segment Rivals

The X4 M Competition leads the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S in raw 0-100 km/h acceleration, providing a more focused, mechanical driving feel. While the Porsche Macan GTS offers a softer ride, the BMW dominates in highway overtaking power and cabin technology. Its iDrive system and large digital cockpit are widely considered the most intuitive for navigating the fast-paced traffic environments of Riyadh or Dubai.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 11.0 L/100km, though stop-start city traffic in major GCC hubs may see higher figures. BMW's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible. As the final production year for this high-performance model, it is expected to follow a more favorable depreciation curve than its predecessors, with the GCC spec providing a 10-15% value premium over imported alternatives.

Performance & Capability

The 510 hp S58 engine is the same unit found in the M3, propelling this SUV to 100 km/h in a staggering 3.8 seconds. This performance is manageable daily thanks to the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and specialized drive modes that can be toggled for comfort or track-level aggression. With its standard all-wheel-drive system and a top speed capability of up to 285 km/h, it is perfectly suited for high-speed stability on the E11 or other major regional arterial roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features high-grade Merino leather and a driver-focused cockpit with a 12.3-inch display. For the GCC summer, the air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, supplemented by ventilated seats that are essential for local comfort. Despite the sloping coupe roofline, the interior provides a premium, insulated environment that effectively blocks out the intense heat and road noise of long-distance commutes.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with BMW's full suite of Active Guard systems, including Frontal Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning. The 360° Surround View camera is standard, making it easy to maneuver the wide SUV into tight city parking spots. For the fast-moving, multi-lane highways of the GCC, the Blind Spot Detection and high-performance M Compound brakes provide an essential safety buffer during high-speed travel.

The bottom line

For the performance enthusiast who wants a brand-new M car without the new-car wait times or initial depreciation, this 600 km GCC-spec X4 M Competition is the ultimate opportunity.
