Summary

This 2025 BYD Song Pro Comfort offers a rare opportunity to own a nearly new SUV that balances modern efficiency with daily practicality. Finished in white—the most sought-after resale color in the GCC—it stands out in the compact crossover segment with its refined interior and significant cargo capacity. The 1.5-litre engine provides dependable performance for city commuting while maintaining lower running costs than larger-displacement rivals. For a buyer in the UAE or KSA looking for a contemporary, feature-rich family vehicle without the steep depreciation of European luxury brands, this listing represents an exceptionally smart value play.

This Car vs Other 2025 Song Pros

As a 2025 model, this vehicle is at the very beginning of its lifecycle, typically meaning minimal wear on critical components like the suspension and cooling system. White remains the strongest resale color in the Middle East due to its heat-reflective properties, giving this specific unit a distinct advantage at future trade-in. Its mileage is significantly lower than the average 25,000 km annual usage typically seen on GCC highways.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim levels up the ownership experience by adding essential technology that basic trims lack, including the signature rotating touchscreen that defines the BYD cabin experience. It also typically includes upgraded seat materials and enhanced sound insulation, which are vital for maintaining cabin serenity during high-temperature summer drives. You are getting the best balance of utility and modern tech without paying the premium for the top-spec aesthetic packages.

Song Pro vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Corolla Cross or Hyundai Tucson, the Song Pro offers a more digitized interior experience and a more generous 520-liter boot, making it superior for family airport runs or grocery hauls. While rivals often charge extra for large-screen infotainment, this BYD includes its advanced rotating display as standard. Its 170 mm ground clearance also provides a more commanding view of the road compared to lower-slung crossovers in its class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.5-litre powertrain is highly competitive for GCC stop-start traffic, typically averaging between 6.5 and 7.5 L/100km depending on air conditioning load. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers now widely available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands are newer to the region, BYD’s rapid expansion and strong local dealer backing help maintain value better than many other emerging brands.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre engine delivers 113 hp, providing a smooth and predictable power delivery ideal for urban navigation and steady highway cruising between emirates. With a 170 mm ground clearance, it handles speed bumps and uneven gravel parking areas with ease, though it remains a strictly road-biased front-wheel-drive SUV. The automatic transmission is tuned for efficiency and comfort, ensuring a relaxed drive even in heavy peak-hour traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the modern family, featuring a spacious 5-seat layout with class-leading rear legroom and dedicated rear AC vents to combat the GCC heat. The central 10.1-inch rotating display serves as the hub for all vehicle settings, offering a level of tech integration rarely found at this price point. Sound dampening is specifically optimized to reduce road noise during long-distance drives from Dubai to Abu Dhabi or across the border.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a high-definition rearview camera for easier parking in tight city spots. It also features ISOFIX child seat anchors and a reinforced high-strength steel body structure. The inclusion of Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS) is a vital safety addition for the extreme temperature fluctuations common in desert climates.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-savvy family or daily commuter, this BYD Song Pro offers a 2025-ready interior and massive storage space at a price point that makes it the most logical alternative to more expensive Japanese rivals.
