Summary

This 2025 Tiggo 7 Pro Max Premium offers a modern driving experience with a high-performance 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, far outpacing the standard 1.5L variants in the region. With only 26,315 km, this one-year-old SUV sits well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for GCC drivers, representing a significant mechanical advantage. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the UAE, offering excellent dust concealment and strong resale appeal in the local pre-owned market. As the top-tier Premium trim, it provides a level of technology and cabin refinement usually reserved for vehicles at a much higher price point. It is an ideal solution for GCC buyers seeking a feature-rich, low-mileage crossover with the added confidence of an all-wheel-drive system for weekend getaways.

This Car vs Other 2025 Tiggo 7 Pro Maxs

At 26,315 km, this Tiggo 7 Pro Max has been driven less than the typical annual average for the UAE, where highway commuting often results in 30,000+ km per year. The Grey exterior is a resilient choice for the Gulf climate, maintaining its appearance better than darker shades under the intense sun while remaining a preferred color for resale. Compared to other 2025 models currently on the market, this unit stands out for its balanced usage and excellent visual condition.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly elevates the ownership experience by adding the 540-degree panoramic camera system and the high-fidelity 8-speaker Sony audio system, which are unavailable on the Comfort and Luxury trims. It also features ventilated front seats—a vital comfort for the GCC summer—alongside a larger 24.6-inch integrated curved display that serves as a high-tech central hub. Furthermore, this trim includes the full ADAS Level 2.5 suite, providing advanced semi-autonomous safety features that the entry-level models lack.

Tiggo 7 Pro Max vs Segment Rivals

The Tiggo 7 Pro Max competes directly with the MG RX5 and the GAC GS4, distinguishing itself with a more powerful 1.6TGDI engine that delivers superior torque for highway overtaking. Unlike many rivals in this price bracket that rely on CVT transmissions, this model uses a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox for more responsive and engaging power delivery. Its dual 12.3-inch screen setup offers a more contemporary and immersive digital experience than the standard interfaces found in most Japanese or Korean competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T AWD model is approximately 7.8L/100km, which is efficient for a turbocharged SUV during long-distance GCC highway drives. Chery has significantly expanded its authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and professional maintenance are easily accessible. The Tiggo 7 Pro Max maintains competitive value retention, typically depreciating at a rate comparable to its modern Chinese peers while benefiting from a strong factory warranty that is transferable to new owners in the GCC.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 1.6-liter TGDI engine, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max delivers 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, enabling it to reach 100 km/h in just 8.0 seconds. The advanced all-wheel-drive system features six intelligent driving modes—including Snow, Mud, and Off-Road—providing added stability on gravel paths and sandy weekend trails. This powertrain is specifically calibrated to handle the high ambient temperatures of the Gulf, ensuring consistent performance even during peak summer months.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 24.6-inch curved hyperboloid screen that manages everything from climate to entertainment with high-definition clarity. GCC-specific comfort is prioritized with powerful dual-zone automatic air conditioning, dedicated rear vents, and ventilated leather seats that provide immediate relief from the heat. The 1.1-square-meter panoramic sunroof includes a specialized dark sunshade to block intense UV rays, maintaining a cool and airy atmosphere for all seven passengers.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive Level 2.5 ADAS suite, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control for effortless Abu Dhabi to Dubai commutes and Blind Spot Monitoring for multi-lane highway safety. The Premium trim is equipped with eight standard airbags, including a front center airbag to prevent occupant collision during side impacts. Additionally, the 540-degree camera with transparent chassis technology makes parking in tight urban spaces and navigating uneven terrain significantly easier and safer.

The bottom line

For a buyer looking for a 2025 SUV that feels brand new without the initial depreciation hit, this low-mileage Tiggo 7 Pro Max Premium is a standout choice that offers more technology and power than any rival at this price point.
