Summary

This 2025 Ferrari 296 GTS is an exceptional opportunity for a buyer looking for a current-generation flagship in effectively as-new condition. With only 95 km on the odometer, this European-spec spider has bypassed the initial delivery wait times typical for Maranello’s latest releases. The black-on-black configuration is a high-demand color choice in the GCC, ensuring strong resale liquidity and a timeless presence on the road. Combining a twin-turbo V6 with a plug-in hybrid system, it offers a level of performance that outpaces its V8 predecessors while maintaining daily usability. For the enthusiast in the region, this car represents the pinnacle of modern open-top driving with immediate availability.

This Car vs Other 2025 296s

With just 95 km from new, this 296 GTS sits at the lowest possible end of the mileage spectrum for a one-year-old car in the GCC. While average annual mileage for supercars in the UAE typically reaches 5,000 km, this example remains in a preserved, showroom state. The black exterior is a primary choice for local resale, holding its value better than more niche shades in the secondary market.

GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS trim elevates the 296 platform with a retractable hardtop that opens in just 14 seconds, even at speeds up to 45 km/h. Unlike the GTB coupe, the GTS features a unique rear screen and sculpted flying buttresses that enhance the acoustic experience of the V6 'piccolo V12' engine note. This open-top capability is a significant value driver in the GCC, where evening drives are a central part of the ownership experience.

296 vs Segment Rivals

The 296 GTS leads competitors like the McLaren Artura Spider and Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica by offering a superior power-to-weight ratio and a more advanced plug-in hybrid architecture. Its 830 hp output provides a clear performance edge for highway overtaking on major emirate routes. Additionally, the Ferrari's cabin tech and digital interface are more refined for daily use compared to the more track-focused layouts of its rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is remarkably efficient at approximately 6.5 L/100km on the WLTP cycle, making it suitable for city commuting in hybrid mode. Maintenance is supported by Ferrari’s 7-year Genuine Maintenance program, with Al Tayer and other authorized centers across the GCC providing world-class service coverage. As a European-spec car, parts are readily available, though buyers should verify local warranty registration for full regional support. This model is expected to show strong value retention, typically depreciating slower than older mid-engine V8 counterparts due to its flagship hybrid status.

Performance & Capability

Generating a combined 830 hp, the 296 GTS delivers a staggering 0-200 km/h time of just 7.6 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive setup is managed by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides instantaneous shifts, essential for spirited drives through the Jebel Jais mountains. The hybrid system also provides a 25 km all-electric range, allowing for silent departures from residential areas before engaging the full power of the twin-turbo V6.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused cockpit featuring a fully digital interface and a dedicated passenger-side display. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, designed to maintain cabin temperatures even with the top down during the shoulder seasons. The high-quality leather and Alcantara finishes are paired with carbon fiber accents, providing a luxurious environment for long-distance travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Safety

Standard safety features include a sophisticated side slip control (SSC) system and the latest 'ABS evo' controller which ensures maximum braking stability on various road surfaces. Adaptive LED headlights and a high-definition 360° camera system provide vital assistance for navigating urban environments and fast-moving highway traffic. Electronic stability control and advanced traction management are standard, tuned to handle the high torque output of the electric motor.

The bottom line

For the discerning collector or performance driver, this 95 km Ferrari 296 GTS offers the perfect blend of iconic Ferrari soul and modern hybrid technology, available today without the premium of a new-car waitlist.
