Summary

This 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor R is a powerhouse tailored for the high-speed desert running and long-distance highway cruising typical of the GCC. With mileage well below the regional average for its age, it represents a near-new opportunity to own the ultimate supercharged V8 iteration of the F-150. The Green exterior is a bold, distinctive choice that stands out in a sea of white and silver, while the GCC specification ensures complete compatibility with local service networks. For the buyer who wants the most capable factory-built desert truck ever made, this listing offers peak performance without the wait of a new order.

This Car vs Other 2025 F-150s

At 18,150 km, this Raptor R has seen significantly less usage than the average 20,000–25,000 km annual cycle common in the GCC. While many F-150s are used as daily workhorses, the low mileage here suggests a vehicle kept primarily for leisure or light commuting. The GCC spec is a critical advantage, ensuring the cooling systems and engine mapping are optimized for extreme summer heat.

RAPTOR R CREW vs Lower Trims

Moving up from the standard Raptor to the Raptor R swaps the twin-turbo V6 for the legendary 5.2L supercharged V8, delivering a massive 250 hp increase. Beyond the engine, the R trim adds standard 37-inch tires, specially tuned FOX Dual Live Valve shocks, and an 18-speaker B&O Unleashed sound system. You also get exclusive interior carbon fiber accents and Alcantara-trimmed Recaro seats that aren't standard on the base Raptor.

F-150 vs Segment Rivals

The Raptor R's primary rival is the Ram 1500 TRX; while both offer supercharged V8 power, the Ford leads with a lighter curb weight and more sophisticated long-travel rear coil suspension for superior high-speed desert stability. Compared to the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, the Raptor R offers significantly more ground clearance and a dedicated Baja mode that better handles the soft sands of the Liwa or Rub' al Khali. Its 136-litre fuel tank is specifically designed for the vast distances between fuel stops in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Running Costs & Resale

The supercharged V8 requires premium 98-octane fuel for peak performance, with real-world GCC consumption averaging around 20 L/100 km in mixed driving. Service intervals at authorized Ford centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia are typically every 10,000 km, though a 5,000 km interval is recommended if used heavily for desert driving. The Raptor R enjoys exceptional value retention in the local market, often depreciating at half the rate of standard executive SUVs due to its limited availability and cult status among GCC enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

A blistering 0–100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds makes this one of the fastest production pickups in the world. It features a sophisticated terrain management system with seven selectable modes, including a Baja setting that optimizes the 10-speed automatic for high-speed sand dunes. With 333 mm of ground clearance and standard 37-inch all-terrain tires, it clears obstacles that would stop most other 4x4s. It also maintains a respectable braked towing capacity of approximately 3,946 kg for weekend toy hauling.

Comfort & Cabin

The SuperCrew cabin is designed for long-range GCC road trips, featuring dual-zone climate control with powerful rear cooling vents and ventilated front seats to combat summer heat. The 12-inch digital cockpit and matching center touchscreen provide seamless navigation and 360-degree camera views. Premium acoustic glass and active noise cancellation ensure the cabin remains quiet even when the supercharged V8 is under load on the highway.

Safety

Standard safety includes Ford's Co-Pilot360 suite with blind-spot monitoring, which is essential for multi-lane GCC highway driving, and adaptive cruise control for long desert stretches. The Raptor R also features specialized off-road safety tech like Trail Turn Assist to reduce the turning radius on tight tracks and a robust 360-degree camera system for navigating rocky terrain. Advanced stability control and multiple airbags provide peace of mind both on-road and off.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Raptor R is the perfect match for a performance enthusiast who wants a near-new, low-mileage 'Apex Predator' capable of dominating both the dunes and the highway.
