Summary

This 2025 Ford F-150 Platinum represents a significant opportunity, showing just 1,405 km on the clock after its first year in the GCC. The Silver exterior is a premier choice for the region, offering the highest heat rejection and ensuring strong resale value in the local market. As the flagship luxury trim, the Platinum balances heavy-duty capability with a cabin that rivals executive sedans, making it the ideal dual-purpose vehicle for professional use and family desert trips. With its low mileage and GCC-spec validation, this truck avoids the typical wear associated with high-use regional workhorses while providing a massive towing advantage for weekend expeditions.

This Car vs Other 2025 F-150s

With only 1,405 km recorded, this F-150 is effectively in showroom condition, sitting far below the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typically seen in the UAE. The Silver paint is one of the most sought-after colors for GCC buyers, valued for its ability to hide fine sand dust and maintain a clean appearance. This specific example offers a rare chance to skip the immediate first-year depreciation while retaining the feel of a brand-new vehicle.

PLATINUM vs Lower Trims

The Platinum trim elevates the F-150 far beyond the Lariat or XLT, introducing standard ventilated and heated front seats that are essential for the GCC summer. It features a superior 14-speaker B&O Unleashed sound system and a 360-degree camera system that makes navigating tight urban parking in Dubai or Abu Dhabi effortless. Furthermore, the Platinum includes genuine wood interior accents and Multi-Contour seats with massage functions that aren't available on mid-tier trims.

F-150 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and RAM 1500, the F-150 leads with a lighter aluminum-alloy body that improves power-to-weight ratios for highway overtaking. Its 136-liter extended-range fuel tank is a critical advantage for long-distance cross-border drives between GCC cities, providing significantly more range than its closest competitors. The Platinum's tech suite, featuring the 12-inch SYNC 4 system, is widely regarded as the most intuitive in the full-size truck segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L EcoBoost engine delivers approximately 10 L/100km on the highway, making it one of the more efficient petrol V6 options for long GCC commutes. Authorized Ford service centers are widely available across all emirates and major Saudi cities, ensuring parts and maintenance are never an issue. This GCC-spec model holds a pricing premium of roughly 15-20% over American-spec imports at resale due to its valid local warranty and cooling systems optimized for 50-degree heat.

Performance & Capability

Generating 400 hp and a massive 678 Nm of torque, this F-150 provides effortless towing and rapid highway merging. The 10-speed automatic transmission is tuned to handle high-torque demands, whether you are hauling a heavy boat or navigating soft sand tracks. With a maximum towing capacity of 6,123 kg, it stands as one of the most capable light-duty trucks in the region, supported by All-Wheel Drive for reliable grip in all conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of luxury featuring premium leather seating for five and a massive panoramic vista roof that adds an airy feel to the interior. The dual-zone climate control is specifically engineered to reach sub-zero temperatures rapidly, a must-have for the regional climate. Quietness is prioritized with acoustic-laminated glass, ensuring that long-distance road trips across the desert remain peaceful and fatigue-free.

Safety

The F-150 Platinum comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360, a comprehensive ADAS suite including Pre-Collision Assist, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with trailer coverage, and Lane-Keeping Assist. These systems are particularly valuable on multi-lane GCC highways where fast-moving traffic is the norm. The 360-degree camera and parking sensors provide total visibility, ensuring safety during both work tasks and school runs.

The bottom line

This is the perfect opportunity for a buyer who wants a flagship 2025 Platinum in the region's best resale color, without the wait or the new-car price tag.
