Summary

This 2025 Raptor R represents the absolute peak of the F-150 hierarchy, featuring the formidable 5.2-liter supercharged V8 and the exclusive Shelter Green exterior. With only 187 km on the odometer, this GCC-spec example is essentially a new vehicle, offering a significant advantage over the typical high-mileage trucks found in the region. The Raptor R stands in a class of its own, delivering supercar-level acceleration paired with professional-grade desert running hardware. For the GCC buyer, the combination of an authorized local service history and the ultra-low mileage makes this a premier investment in both performance and long-term resale stability.

This Car vs Other 2025 F-150s

With just 187 km, this Raptor R is in showroom condition, far below the typical 25,000 km annual average for performance trucks in the GCC. The rare Shelter Green paint is a highly desirable shade in the UAE and Saudi markets, often commanding a premium over standard colors. Purchasing a vehicle with such minimal delivery mileage ensures the mechanical integrity of the supercharged Predator engine is preserved for its next owner.

RAPTOR CREW CAB LUX vs Lower Trims

The Lux-equipped Raptor R adds a significant layer of refinement over the standard V6 Raptor, including the 18-speaker B&O Unleashed audio system and a massive Head-Up Display. Inside, you receive Recaro performance seats with Alcantara inserts and genuine carbon fiber accents that are not available on lower trims. Most crucially, this trim includes the 37-inch tire performance package and specially tuned FOX Live Valve shocks as standard equipment.

F-150 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the RAM 1500 TRX have historically competed for dominance, the 2025 Raptor R leads with its lighter curb weight and superior 10-speed transmission logic. Its 136-liter extended-range fuel tank is a critical advantage for long-distance desert expeditions or cross-border travel between the Emirates and Oman. The Ford also offers a more integrated suite of off-road tech, such as Trail Control and One-Pedal Drive, which are specifically useful in soft sand.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 19.6 L/100km, which can rise toward 25 L/100km during enthusiastic desert driving. The Raptor R requires 98-octane fuel to maintain its 700+ hp output, readily available at all major GCC stations. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the extensive Al Tayer or similar authorized service networks across the region. Historically, the Raptor R maintains the highest resale value in the F-150 lineup due to its limited production and iconic engine.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this beast is the 5.2-liter supercharged V8, propelling this full-sized truck from 0-100 km/h in a staggering 3.6 seconds. It is engineered for high-speed desert crossings with 332 mm of ground clearance and 15 inches of rear suspension travel. Selectable drive modes, including Baja and Rock Crawl, allow the driver to instantly recalibrate the exhaust, steering, and damping for the specific terrain encountered in the Arabian Peninsula.

Comfort & Cabin

The SuperCrew cabin offers massive legroom for five adults, ensuring comfort during long highway stretches across the UAE. The Lux package includes essential GCC features like ventilated front seats and a high-output dual-zone climate control system designed to handle 50°C summer peaks. The interior is further insulated with acoustic glass, providing a quiet sanctuary from wind noise during high-speed cruising.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with Ford's full Co-Pilot360 technology suite, featuring Blind Spot Monitoring which is vital for multi-lane highway driving in Dubai or Riyadh. Standard safety includes a 360-degree camera system for navigating tight parking or technical trails, alongside Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go. The heavy-duty steel frame and comprehensive airbag suite provide top-tier occupant protection for both city and off-road environments.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who demands the most powerful factory truck ever built, this delivery-mileage, GCC-spec Raptor R offers the perfect blend of supercar performance and desert-ready durability.
