Ford Ranger RAPTOR GCC SPEC LESS KILOMETER

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 5.7 seconds
• 2.5-inch FOX Racing Shocks with Live Valve technology
• 392 hp from a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine

Summary

This low-mileage Raptor offers a significant advantage for GCC buyers looking for a nearly new performance truck without the wait. Finished in Black, a top-tier choice for resale value in the local market, this unit stands out as a purpose-built desert runner rather than a standard work truck. Compared to typical annual GCC use of 25,000 km, this vehicle’s 12,000 km indicates extremely light highway use. It represents the pinnacle of mid-size pickup engineering, perfectly suited for weekend adventures in the Liwa dunes or high-speed cross-emirate travel.

This Car vs Other 2025 Rangers

With just 12,000 km on the odometer, this Raptor is well below the average 20,000–25,000 km usually seen on year-old vehicles in the GCC. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets, ensuring stronger value retention. For a 2025 model, this represents a low-wear example of Ford’s most aggressive mid-size platform.

RAPTOR vs Lower Trims

The Raptor trim completely transforms the Ranger, swapping standard leaf springs for a sophisticated Watts-link rear suspension and FOX Live Valve shocks. It adds critical performance hardware missing on the Wildtrak, including front and rear electronic locking differentials and the high-output twin-turbo V6. Inside, you receive Raptor-specific sports seats with extra bolstering and a 360-degree camera system that is essential for navigating tight city parking or technical off-road trails.

Ranger vs Segment Rivals

While the Toyota Hilux GR Sport and Jeep Gladiator Rubicon are key rivals, the Raptor leads with a significantly more powerful 392 hp engine that outpaces them on the highway. Its specialized suspension allows for high-speed desert driving that would overwhelm the Hilux's more traditional setup. Furthermore, the 10-speed automatic transmission provides smoother shifts for long-distance GCC cruising compared to the Gladiator's 8-speed unit.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this twin-turbo V6 averages approximately 11.5 L/100km, though this will increase during heavy stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals for Ford in the GCC are typically every 10,000 km, supported by an extensive network of authorized service centers including Al Tayer and Premier Motors in the UAE. As a range-topping Raptor, this model historically depreciates slower than standard work-oriented trims in the local secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The Raptor delivers a confirmed 0–100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest pickups available in the region. It features a sophisticated terrain management system with a dedicated Baja mode, specifically designed for high-speed sand runs. With a ground clearance of roughly 272 mm and heavy-duty underbody protection, it is technically prepared for the most demanding GCC terrain straight from the showroom.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for the GCC climate with a powerful multi-zone climate control system and supportive performance seats designed to keep occupants comfortable during long desert expeditions. The interior features a 12-inch vertical touchscreen and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system, providing a luxury SUV feel inside a rugged truck body. Integrated upfitter switches are also standard, allowing easy installation of additional desert lighting or accessories.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Blind Spot Information System, which is vital for the UAE’s fast-moving multi-lane highways. It also includes adaptive cruise control for long desert stretches and Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking. The heavy-duty frame and multiple airbag system provide robust protection, while the 360-degree camera gives the driver full visibility in complex off-road environments.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who wants the most capable factory-built desert truck on the market today, this low-mileage 2025 Raptor in the region's best resale color is a premier opportunity.
