Summary

This 2025 Ford Ranger XLT is a standout choice for those seeking a modern pickup that balances workhorse capability with everyday refinement. With less than 1,000 km on the odometer, this near-new vehicle offers a significant advantage over typical high-mileage GCC used trucks while retaining its full regional warranty. The XLT trim bridges the gap perfectly, providing premium cabin tech and advanced safety systems that are often absent in base work trims. Finished in a highly desirable Grey that performs well for resale in the local market, it represents a smart purchase for city-based professionals and weekend adventurers alike. Ford's established service network across the UAE and wider GCC ensures long-term peace of mind and accessible maintenance.

This Car vs Other 2025 Rangers

With just 883 km, this Ranger is in exceptional near-showroom condition, whereas many 2025 models in the GCC market already reflect heavy commuter or site use. The low mileage provides a genuine buying advantage, effectively offering a new-car experience with the immediate depreciation benefit of a pre-owned listing. The Grey exterior is a versatile and popular choice in the UAE, known for maintaining strong demand and value at resale.

XLT vs Lower Trims

The XLT trim adds significant value over the base XL, most notably introducing the Ford Co-Pilot360 technology suite for enhanced safety on fast GCC highways. Inside, you benefit from a wireless charging pad and upgraded interior materials that elevate the cabin feel beyond a standard utility vehicle. Externally, the XLT is distinguished by LED reflector headlamps and premium alloy wheels, providing a more executive presence on the road.

Ranger vs Segment Rivals

The Ranger competes directly with the Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara, leading the segment in cabin technology with the SYNC 4A infotainment platform and a standard 10-inch vertical touchscreen. Its 80-litre fuel tank is a critical advantage for long-distance desert drives or cross-border travel between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. The 10-speed automatic transmission offers smoother shifting and better highway efficiency than the 6-speed units typically found in its Japanese rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.3L EcoBoost engine is designed for efficient performance, with real-world combined fuel consumption averaging approximately 10 L/100km depending on cargo loads. Ford's extensive authorized service network, managed by Al Tayer Motors in the UAE and similar established distributors across the GCC, ensures parts are readily available. The Ranger historically ranks among the slowest-depreciating pickups in the region, typically retaining over 70% of its value after three years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

Generating 270 hp and 420 Nm of torque, this 2.3L turbocharged engine provides effortless overtaking power on high-speed highways. Its 3,500 kg braked towing capacity matches the class maximum, making it suitable for hauling boats or heavy trailers across the Emirates. The rear-wheel-drive configuration is paired with selectable drive modes including Tow/Haul and Eco, allowing you to optimize performance for specific GCC driving conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for versatility, featuring a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and a large central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is highly rated for rapid cooling, complemented by rear vents to ensure all passengers remain comfortable during peak summer heat. Acoustic insulation has been improved in this generation to minimize road noise during long highway commutes.

Safety

This XLT trim features a comprehensive safety package, including Ford's Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, which is vital for navigating multi-lane highway traffic. Standard features include Lane-Keeping Assist, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and a high-resolution rear-view camera with parking sensors. These active systems provide an extra layer of protection during long desert drives where driver fatigue can become a factor.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a 2025 XLT trim with delivery-level mileage, offering the perfect blend of modern tech and proven durability for the GCC driver.
