Summary

This 2025 Hongqi H9 Deluxe offers an exceptional opportunity to own a near-new executive sedan with just 9,500 km on the clock, well below the typical GCC annual average. The Regal Purple finish stands out as a sophisticated and high-demand choice in the local luxury market, ensuring better-than-average resale appeal. While competitors often charge extra for premium amenities, this trim provides a high-end experience as standard, making it a compelling alternative to established European rivals. Its rear-wheel-drive platform and 48V mild-hybrid assistance provide the smooth, dignified power delivery expected by GCC executives. With the balance of its 7-year manufacturer warranty likely intact, it represents a secure, high-value entry into the luxury segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 Hongqi H9s

With only 9,500 km, this H9 has barely completed its break-in period and sits significantly below the 20,000–25,000 km annual average for used cars in the GCC. The Purple exterior is a signature color for the brand that holds strong resale value in the UAE and wider region compared to standard silver or white. Choosing a 2025 model with such low mileage offers the best of both worlds: a fresh-from-the-showroom feel with the steep initial depreciation already covered.

DELUXE vs Lower Trims

The Deluxe trim is a significant step up for GCC buyers, adding premium touches like the 12-speaker Bose-level audio system and a more advanced 360-degree camera system that makes parking in tight urban spaces like Downtown Dubai effortless. Unlike the base trims, this version features enhanced ambient lighting and higher-grade upholstery, creating a true executive environment. It strikes the perfect balance for the owner-driver, offering all the high-tech interior features of the flagship without the unnecessary bulk of the V6 engine.

H9 vs Segment Rivals

The H9 competes directly with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, offering a significantly longer 5.1-meter wheelbase that provides superior rear legroom for family or business use. Its signature waterfall grille and 'Wings of Hongqi' LED greeting light sequence provide a level of road presence typically reserved for cars in the S-Class segment. While German rivals often require expensive options for basic driver aids, the H9 includes a full suite of safety and comfort tech as standard.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine averages around 7.0–8.5 L/100km on GCC highways, making it remarkably efficient for a full-size sedan. The 48V mild-hybrid system is particularly effective in stop-start traffic in cities like Riyadh or Dubai, reducing fuel waste during idling. Maintenance is handled through a rapidly expanding GCC authorized network, including Alghanim in Kuwait and OMD in the UAE, typically following 10,000 km service intervals. Resale value for Hongqi in the GCC has stabilized at around 65% after three years, outperforming several tier-two European luxury brands.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers 245 hp and 380 Nm of torque, enabling a verified 0–100 km/h sprint of 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h. This powertrain is perfectly tuned for the GCC's long-distance highway network, providing smooth overtaking power and high-speed stability. The rear-wheel-drive architecture ensures a balanced and traditional luxury sedan feel, while the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission offers quick, imperceptible gear changes that enhance cabin refinement.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed as a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring a high-performance multi-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats as standard. Massive 12.3-inch dual screens dominate the dashboard, providing a modern digital cockpit experience that rivals the latest tech-focused luxury cars. Passengers benefit from excellent acoustic glass and noise insulation, ensuring a quiet environment even during fast highway cruises between emirates. The five-seat layout offers generous shoulder room, comfortably accommodating three adults in the rear for long journeys.

Safety

This H9 is equipped with a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are essential for navigating the fast-moving multi-lane highways of the GCC. The high-strength steel cage-style body construction is paired with a comprehensive 360-degree Around View Monitor to prevent low-speed incidents. Automatic Emergency Braking and Driver Fatigue Monitoring come standard, ensuring peace of mind during late-night cross-border drives.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking Mercedes-S-Class presence and interior tech at a fraction of the cost, this low-mileage 2025 Hongqi H9 Deluxe is the smartest executive choice on the market today.
