Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a standout opportunity in the GCC market, offering a rugged, Defender-inspired aesthetic paired with high-end cabin technology. With its All-Wheel Drive system and 2.0-liter turbo engine, it delivers a balance of urban refinement and weekend capability that is highly sought after by local buyers. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient and popular resale colors in the region, effectively masking desert dust while maintaining a premium look. Having covered just over 42,000 km in its first year, this vehicle is well-suited for a buyer looking to jump into a modern, feature-packed SUV that handles the UAE's high-speed highways and summer heat with ease.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

At 42,807 km, this T2 sits slightly above the typical annual GCC average of 25,000 km, reflecting its capability as a primary long-distance commuter. However, as a 2025 model, it benefits from the latest mechanical refinements and software updates not found in earlier production runs. The Grey finish is a strategic choice for the UAE, offering better heat reflection than black while holding a significantly higher resale value than non-neutral tones.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim is the definitive spec for the GCC, adding critical comfort features that are felt daily in our climate. It upgrades the cabin with a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and ventilated front seats, a feature that becomes essential during the UAE summer months. You also benefit from the full Level 2 ADAS suite and a 360-degree panoramic camera system, providing much-needed visibility during tight city parking and highway lane changes.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 leads its primary rivals, the Tank 300 and BAIC BJ40, by offering a more refined monocoque chassis that provides superior on-road comfort for the daily Abu Dhabi-Dubai commute. Its 15.6-inch screen is one of the largest in its price bracket, outclassing traditional rivals in cabin tech. Additionally, the 70-liter fuel tank ensures a longer cruising range for cross-emirate trips compared to smaller-displacement crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T powertrain averages between 9 and 11 L/100km depending on how much time is spent in Dubai’s stop-start traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is supported by an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2's massive local popularity is currently supporting strong demand and stable pricing in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces a robust 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, allowing for confident highway overtaking even when fully loaded. The XWD system by BorgWarner features seven intelligent driving modes, including specific settings for sand and rock, making it a capable companion for desert camping trips. With 220 mm of ground clearance and a wading depth of 700 mm, it handles seasonal flooding and gravel tracks with significantly more composure than a standard road-biased crossover.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is designed for the long-haul, featuring high-quality synthetic leather and a massive panoramic sunroof that gives the cabin an airy feel. The dual-zone climate control is specifically tuned for GCC temperatures, complemented by dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool. Active noise cancellation and acoustic glass help isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway cruising at 120 km/h.

Safety

This T2 is equipped with 10 airbags and a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist. These systems are particularly valuable for long desert highway drives, helping to reduce driver fatigue. The 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis view is a standout feature, assisting in both technical off-road maneuvers and navigating narrow urban parking garages.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the rugged look and capability of a desert-ready 4x4 without sacrificing the tech and comfort of a modern luxury sedan, this T2 Luxury Plus is the ideal regional choice.
