Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a compelling option for those seeking the rugged look of a premium off-roader with the tech-focused interior of a modern crossover. With its Black-on-Black configuration, it holds one of the strongest resale color combinations in the GCC market, and its 65,000 km mileage is consistent with the high-utilization typical of UAE highway commutes. As the top-spec Luxury Plus trim, it bridges the gap between urban daily driver and weekend adventurer, offering significant feature upgrades over the base models. For a buyer in the Emirates, this car represents a high-value entry into the growing 'box-SUV' segment, backed by a presence that rivals far more expensive European alternatives.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

At 65,000 km, this T2 has been actively used for the long-distance highway travel common across the GCC, such as the Dubai to Abu Dhabi commute. While this is slightly higher than the global average, it sits within the normal range for two years of operation in the UAE. The Black exterior is highly desirable in the local pre-owned market, ensuring better value retention than more niche colors like Lime Green or Cyan.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim is the definitive spec for the GCC climate, adding ventilated front seats which are essential for summer comfort. It also upgrades the cabin experience with a premium 12-speaker Sony sound system and advanced driver assistance features not found on the Comfort trim. Additionally, this trim includes the larger 20-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof that significantly enhances the vehicle's road presence.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 leads its segment rivals like the Toyota Fortuner and GAC GS8 in pure interior technology, offering a massive 15.6-inch console screen as standard. While rivals often rely on older naturally aspirated engines, the T2's 2.0L Turbo provides more accessible torque for highway overtaking. Its unique BorgWarner XWD system provides a more user-friendly 'set-and-forget' off-road experience compared to the manual transfer cases found in traditional ladder-frame competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T powertrain typically averages between 9.5L and 10.5L/100km on GCC highways, though city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh can push this higher. Jetour has established a strong service presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While initial depreciation is steeper than Japanese brands, the transferability of the long-term regional warranty provides a significant safety net for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a robust 390 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 8.7 seconds. With 220 mm of ground clearance and a dedicated 'X' smart mode, it is well-suited for light desert excursions and navigating wadis during the rainy season. The intelligent 4WD system automatically manages power distribution between the wheels, providing stability on gravel tracks and during high-speed highway cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the T2 offers a premium environment with high-quality synthetic leather and a dual-zone climate control system designed to handle 45°C+ temperatures. The Luxury Plus trim ensures all five passengers remain comfortable with rear AC vents and acoustic glass that reduces wind noise at highway speeds. The cabin is further distinguished by customizable ambient lighting and a cooled center console to keep beverages cold during long desert drives.

Safety

The Luxury Plus trim comes equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. A standout feature for the GCC is the 540° panoramic camera system, which includes a 'transparent chassis' view to help drivers avoid obstacles on rocky terrain. Multiple airbags and high-strength steel construction provide robust protection for family use.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy buyer who wants a rugged aesthetic and a feature-rich interior without the premium price tag of a Land Rover. Given its high trim level and GCC-preferred color, it stands as one of the most balanced opportunities in the current used SUV market.
