Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a compelling choice for UAE buyers seeking a rugged off-roader aesthetic without sacrificing the on-road refinement of a modern unibody chassis. With a grey exterior—a high-demand color for resale across the GCC—and just over 41,000 km, this vehicle has been broken in properly for long highway commutes and desert weekend camping. As the top-tier Luxury Plus trim, it comes with the highest available technology suite for this model year, ensuring a premium cabin experience during the intense summer heat. The 2.0L turbocharged engine provides the necessary torque for highway overtaking and light-to-medium sand driving, making it a versatile daily driver for the region. For a GCC owner, the most significant advantage remains the robust dealer support and long-term warranty coverage typical for this brand in the local market.

This Car vs Other 2025 T2s

With 41,781 km on the odometer, this T2 sits slightly above the average annual mileage for GCC family SUVs, reflecting the common long-distance highway use between Emirates. The grey exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, as it holds value significantly better than brighter colors while staying cooler than black under the sun. Choosing a 2025 model in this condition provides a significant saving over new showroom prices while retaining the bulk of the manufacturer's extended warranty.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim elevates the T2 experience by adding a premium 12-speaker Sony sound system and enhanced seat adjustments over the base Comfort and mid-tier Luxury models. It includes crucial GCC comfort features standard, such as multi-stage ventilated front seats and a 540° camera system that includes a transparent chassis view—vital for navigating rocky Wadis or tight urban parking. You also benefit from the full ADAS safety suite and 20-inch wheels that define the T2's aggressive stance.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 leads rivals like the GWM Tank 300 in terms of on-road plushness and rear legroom due to its unibody construction and longer 2,800 mm wheelbase. While the Ford Bronco Sport targets a similar lifestyle buyer, the T2 offers a significantly larger 15.6-inch infotainment display and standard ventilated seating which the Ford often lacks in comparable trims. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically sized for long-range travel between GCC cities like Dubai and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine typically averages between 9.5 and 11 L/100km, performing efficiently on the open highway but rising in stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the extensive Elite Motors service network across the UAE, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese SUVs generally see a steeper initial depreciation than Japanese brands, the T2’s popularity and the transferable 10-year engine warranty provide better value retention than previous generations.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine produces 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 8.7 seconds. Its BorgWarner XWD system automatically manages torque between axles, offering seven terrain modes including dedicated Snow, Mud, and Rock settings for weekend excursions. With a 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth, it is exceptionally well-suited for light desert driving and managing seasonal flash floods in the northern Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip for lag-free operation of navigation and media. The 5-seat layout provides class-leading rear legroom, while the dual-zone climate control is engineered to drop cabin temperatures rapidly even in 45°C+ heat. High-quality materials and acoustic glass ensure the cabin remains quiet and insulated from road noise during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

Standard safety for the Luxury Plus trim includes a comprehensive suite of six airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Key features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist are ideal for the long desert stretches of the E11 highway, while the 540° panoramic camera provides unmatched visibility in both off-road and crowded urban environments. Blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking come standard, providing peace of mind in the fast-moving UAE traffic.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is perfect for the UAE professional who wants the rugged look of a hardcore 4x4 with the daily comfort, technology, and warranty security of a modern family SUV.
