Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a virtually new example of China's most disruptive off-road SUV, showing just 500 km on the odometer. As the range-topping Luxury Plus trim, it delivers a significantly more premium interior experience than the base models, featuring advanced cabin cooling and high-end materials that excel in the GCC summer. The boxy, rugged silhouette offers a distinct presence on UAE roads, successfully bridging the gap between a daily family commuter and a weekend adventure vehicle. With its all-wheel-drive system and impressive technical stats, this T2 represents a modern, tech-heavy alternative to traditional 4x4s for a buyer who wants a unique look without sacrificing city comfort.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With only 500 km, this T2 is in a pre-delivery state, offering a significant advantage over the typical high-mileage use seen in the GCC market. The black exterior is one of the most desirable colors for resale in the region, providing a sharp, high-contrast look against the T2's rugged exterior trim. Choosing this low-mileage 2025 model ensures you benefit from the latest production refinements while bypassing the immediate depreciation of a brand-new showroom registration.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim elevates the T2 from a capable SUV to a true executive-level cabin, adding larger 20-inch wheels and a premium Sony audio system that isn't available on lower variants. Crucially for the GCC climate, this trim includes ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof with high-efficiency heat insulation. You also gain a full 540-degree camera system (including a transparent chassis view), which is invaluable for both tight urban parking in Dubai and navigating rocky desert trails.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the Tank 300 and Ford Bronco Sport, leading the segment in digital real estate with its massive 15.6-inch central display. While the Tank 300 uses a traditional ladder-frame for heavy rock crawling, the T2's unibody construction provides superior on-road refinement and more usable rear legroom for family duties. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically sized for long-distance cruising, making it better suited for cross-emirate trips than smaller-capacity rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo engine averages around 9.5L/100km in mixed driving, though this can vary during peak summer when the AC is under heavy load. As a Chinese-spec vehicle in the UAE, owners benefit from a growing network of specialized workshops, though it is important to note that official agency service packages may differ from GCC-spec models. The T2 has shown strong initial value retention in the region due to its high demand and unique styling, typically depreciating at a rate comparable to established mid-range SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, allowing for confident highway overtaking and an impressive 0-100 km/h sprint of 7.6 seconds. Off-road capability is supported by the XWD intelligent system, which automatically switches between six driving modes including sand, mud, and rock. With a 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth, the T2 is more than capable of handling deep seasonal puddles and moderate desert dunes.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seater layout is designed for maximum space, utilizing a long 2,800 mm wheelbase to provide adult-sized legroom in the rear. The cabin is exceptionally quiet thanks to acoustic glass, while the dual-zone climate control system is engineered to handle extreme heat, featuring dedicated vents for rear passengers. Tech enthusiasts will appreciate the Snapdragon 8155 chipset, which ensures the infotainment system remains fluid and responsive even when running multiple navigation and media apps.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the Luxury Plus trim, featuring a full ADAS suite that includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist for safer highway driving. The vehicle is equipped with six airbags and high-strength steel reinforcement throughout the chassis. For the UAE's multi-lane roads, the blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems provide essential layers of protection against fast-moving traffic.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is the perfect choice for a tech-forward buyer who wants the rugged aesthetic of a classic 4x4 with the daily driveability and low mileage of a new car. It offers a premium feature set that rivals luxury European SUVs at a much more accessible price point in the current GCC market.
