Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus presents a compelling opportunity for buyers seeking the most premium trim with average mileage for the GCC market. Its Grey exterior is a highly desirable choice in the region, offering a sophisticated look that typically maintains stronger resale value than bolder colors. As a GCC-spec model, it is purpose-built to handle extreme summer heat and enjoys full support from an expanding authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Combining a robust 254 hp engine with advanced BorgWarner 4WD technology, this SUV bridges the gap between a high-tech family commuter and a capable desert weekend adventurer.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 31,000 km, this T2 sits right at the average for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where long-distance commuting is standard. Unlike the basic Comfort trims, this Luxury Plus model represents the highest available spec for the 2025 model year, ensuring all flagship features are present. The Grey finish is a strategic advantage, as it is one of the most requested colors in the UAE used market for this specific model.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim significantly elevates the experience with ventilated front seats, a feature essential for the GCC's 45°C summers. It adds a premium 12-speaker Sony audio system and a 540° panoramic camera system that provides a transparent chassis view, making it much safer to navigate rocky wadis or tight parking spots in Dubai. You also get the upgraded 15.6-inch central display and the full suite of ADAS safety features that are often omitted in the Comfort trim.

Jetour T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the Ford Bronco Sport and the GWM Tank 300, leading its segment with a 752-litre boot capacity that easily accommodates family camping gear. Its 70-litre fuel tank provides a greater range for long-distance drives across the Emirates compared to smaller crossovers. The inclusion of the BorgWarner 6th-gen intelligent 4WD system as standard gives it a mechanical edge in sand performance over road-biased rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0L Turbo engine averages between 9.5 and 11 L/100km, which is respectable for a 4WD SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Service intervals are set at 10,000 km, and Jetour's growing network through Elite Group ensures parts and expert maintenance are readily available across major cities. While Chinese brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2's high local demand and transferable 10-year engine warranty help stabilize its value at the 3-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, providing plenty of power for high-speed highway overtaking on the E11. With 220 mm of ground clearance and specialized driving modes including Sand, Rock, and Snow, it is genuinely capable of handling weekend excursions into the dunes. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, making it as comfortable in urban traffic as it is reliable on gravel tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the T2 offers a premium five-seat layout featuring high-quality materials and a panoramic sunroof that enhances the sense of space. The air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers remain cool during the peak of summer. The cabin is well-insulated from external heat and road noise, creating a refined environment for long cross-border road trips.

Safety

Safety is a priority in this trim, which includes eight airbags and a full ADAS suite featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keeping Assist. The 540° camera system is particularly useful for avoiding obstacles in diverse GCC terrains. These active systems work together to provide a secure driving experience on both fast-moving multi-lane highways and unpaved desert roads.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants a rugged, off-road capable SUV without sacrificing modern luxury and tech, this T2 Luxury Plus is the ideal choice. It offers the perfect balance of mileage, flagship equipment, and a high-resale color, making it a smart purchase in today's market.
