Summary

This 2025 Jetour X70 Plus LUX offers a compelling package for GCC families seeking a modern seven-seat SUV with a premium feature set. Having covered 33,600 km in its first year, it is a mechanically sound choice for those who value the balance of the powerful 1.6T engine and the upscale Luxury trim. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, offering the best heat reflection and the strongest resale potential in the UAE market. Standing out with its digital-first cabin and extensive safety suite, this model effectively competes with established rivals by providing more technology at a sharper value point. For a GCC buyer, the primary advantage is the remaining balance of the generous 10-year manufacturer warranty, ensuring long-term peace of mind.

This Car vs Other 2025 X70 Pluses

With 33,600 km on the odometer, this vehicle’s usage is slightly above the typical GCC annual average but remains well within the expected limits for a reliable 1.6T powertrain. This higher-than-average mileage for its age is common for vehicles used for long-distance commutes between emirates, ensuring the engine has been regularly exercised at highway speeds. The white exterior is the most preferred color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention than darker alternatives.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is a significant step up from the base Comfort variant, replacing the 1.5L engine with the more potent 1.6L turbocharged unit and a 7-speed DCT. It adds essential GCC comforts such as a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree panoramic camera system, and a more sophisticated digital cockpit featuring dual 12.3-inch screens. LUX buyers also benefit from a power-adjustable driver’s seat and a higher-quality leatherette upholstery that better withstands the local climate.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Mitsubishi Outlander or the Nissan X-Trail, the Jetour X70 Plus leads on interior technology and raw power output from its 1.6T engine. Its 197 hp provides a noticeable edge during highway overtaking compared to the naturally aspirated engines found in several segment competitors. Furthermore, the 57-litre fuel tank paired with efficient turbocharging makes it a strong contender for long desert highway drives across the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 7.3 L/100km on the highway, though this may increase to 10-12 L/100km in heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, and Jetour’s authorized network, led by Elite Motors in the UAE, provides extensive coverage across major cities. While Chinese brands typically depreciate faster than Japanese rivals, the X70 Plus has shown a healthy retention rate of approximately 77% after three years in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre engine delivers a stout 197 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 9.5 seconds, which is respectable for a seven-seat family crossover. This power is particularly useful when the vehicle is fully loaded with passengers, providing enough torque for effortless highway cruising at 120 km/h. While it is a front-wheel-drive SUV, the selectable drive modes and 20-inch wheels offer stable handling for weekend family road trips between Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC summers, featuring a high-output dual-zone air conditioning system with dedicated vents for the rear rows to ensure all seven passengers remain cool. The digital cockpit is the centerpiece, providing a premium feel that rivals more expensive European SUVs. High-quality materials and a quiet cabin insulated against road noise make it an excellent choice for long-distance family travel across the region.

Safety

The LUX trim comes standard with an impressive safety suite, including a 360-degree camera that is invaluable for parking in tight city spots. It features active safety systems such as Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane GCC highways. Stability control, traction control, and a comprehensive airbag system ensure a high level of protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

This listing is ideal for a growing family looking for a nearly-new 2025 SUV that doesn't compromise on tech or power, backed by one of the strongest warranties in the GCC.
