Summary

This 2025 Li Auto L9 Ultra is a standout acquisition, offering flagship luxury with just 1 year of age and exceptionally low mileage for the GCC market. As the top-tier Ultra trim, it provides the most advanced dual-chamber air suspension and computing power available, far surpassing standard European rivals in tech-per-dirham. The white exterior is a prime choice for the region, ensuring maximum heat reflection and strong resale demand across the UAE and beyond. For a GCC buyer, this EREV system is the perfect bridge, offering pure electric city commuting with a petrol generator that eliminates range anxiety on long desert highway stretches between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2025 Li Auto L9s

With only 6,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits significantly below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. The white paint is highly desirable in the local used market, offering better thermal management during summer and a faster turnaround at resale compared to darker tones. This specific unit represents a 'like-new' opportunity without the immediate depreciation hit of a zero-kilometer car.

ULTRA vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is the definitive flagship, adding a high-capacity 52.3 kWh battery for extended electric-only range compared to the Pro. It is equipped with the advanced 'Magic Carpet' dual-chamber air suspension and the high-performance NVIDIA Orin-X computing platform for superior ADAS capabilities. While lower trims offer the basics, only the Ultra includes the 18-point hot stone massage seats and the upgraded ATL LiDAR system for safer night driving.

L9 vs Segment Rivals

The L9 competes directly with luxury mainstays like the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS but leads significantly in cabin technology with its unique five-screen layout. Its 65-liter fuel tank combined with a 52.3 kWh battery provides a range that most petrol-only rivals cannot match on a single fill. Furthermore, the L9 offers genuine adult-sized legroom in the third row, a common pain point in many European three-row SUVs.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is remarkably low for a full-size SUV, averaging 5.9L/100km (CLTC) when the range extender is active. While depreciation for premium Chinese EVs is currently steeper than Japanese icons, the L9 holds value better than other start-up brands due to Li Auto's growing official service presence via partners like Al Fahim in the UAE and Naghi Motors in Saudi Arabia. Expect standard maintenance intervals to be straightforward given the fewer moving parts of the electric drivetrain.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor intelligent AWD system delivers a combined 449 hp and 620 Nm of torque, resulting in a swift 5.3-second 0-100 km/h sprint that aids in highway overtaking. The adjustable air suspension provides up to 210 mm of maximum ground clearance, allowing the vehicle to handle light desert trails and gravel roads with ease. Seven dedicated terrain modes, including Sand and Mud, ensure the L9 is mechanically prepared for GCC weekend adventures.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary for GCC summers, featuring a 2-2-2 six-seat configuration with ventilation and heating for the first two rows. A dedicated rear-seat climate zone with independent vents ensures all passengers remain cool even in 45°C heat, while the built-in refrigerator adds a layer of convenience for long road trips. The interior is dominated by two 15.7-inch OLED displays, providing an immersive entertainment experience that keeps the family engaged on cross-border drives.

Safety

The L9 Ultra is equipped with the Li AD Max suite, featuring a 360-degree LiDAR setup and dual NVIDIA chips for industry-leading obstacle detection. Standard safety hardware includes 12 airbags and high-strength steel construction that earned a 5-star rating in China's C-NCAP testing. Adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring are particularly effective for navigating fast-moving multi-lane traffic in Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a tech-focused family in the GCC who wants full-size luxury and EV efficiency without sacrificing the ability to drive from Dubai to Salalah on a whim. At just 6,000 km, this Ultra trim listing offers the best of Li Auto's technology at a meaningful saving over new.
