Summary

This 1-year-old Mercedes-AMG A45 S represents a rare opportunity to own the ultimate expression of the modern hot hatchback with remarkably low mileage for the GCC market. Finished in a high-resale Grey, this AMG-S trim elevates the A-Class into supercar-slaying territory thanks to its handcrafted M139 engine and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. In a region where highway performance and cabin cooling are paramount, this GCC-spec example stands out with its superior cooling capacity and localized warranty. It offers a unique blend of daily practicality and track-ready performance that few rivals can match. For the enthusiast seeking the most powerful series-production four-cylinder in the world, this near-new listing is the definitive choice.

This Car vs Other 2025 A45s

With only 6,600 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less distance than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC. This low usage ensures the mechanical components and interior remain in pristine, near-showroom condition. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after, conservative choice in the UAE market, which supports stronger value retention compared to more niche colors.

AMG- S vs Lower Trims

The AMG-S trim is a substantial leap over the standard A45 or A35, most notably featuring the 'S' tune which pushes output to 421 hp. It adds essential GCC-market upgrades like the 360-degree surround-view camera, a Head-Up Display, and the AMG Real Performance Sound system. Additionally, the S trim includes the AMG Dynamic Plus package as standard, featuring larger brakes and the highly desirable Drift Mode.

A45 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Audi RS3 and BMW M2 offer impressive performance, the A45 S leads the pack with the highest specific power output from a 2.0-litre engine globally. Its 4MATIC+ system is specifically tuned for high-speed stability on the UAE's multi-lane highways, providing a more planted feel than rear-wheel-drive competitors. The hatchback configuration also offers more practical cargo access than coupe rivals for daily city errands.

Running Costs & Resale

The A45 S maintains a prestigious position in the GCC used market, benefiting from a dedicated enthusiast following that helps curb the steep depreciation often seen in luxury hatchbacks. Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 9.2 L/100km, though this varies based on GCC stop-start city traffic and high-speed highway cruising. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is supported by the extensive Mercedes-Benz authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and technician expertise are never an issue.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 3.9-second sprint to 100 km/h, enabled by the Race Start launch control and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. With a top speed electronically limited to 270 km/h, it is perfectly suited for long-distance travel between Emirates. The sophisticated 4MATIC+ system can distribute power entirely to the rear wheels, offering a dynamic driving character that adapts from a comfortable commuter to a focused track tool at the turn of a dial.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a tech-heavy environment featuring the dual-screen MBUX infotainment system and AMG Performance seats that provide exceptional lateral support during spirited drives. For the GCC climate, the high-performance air conditioning system and factory-tinted glass ensure the cabin remains cool even during peak summer temperatures. Despite its performance focus, the 370-litre boot and five-seat layout make it a viable daily driver for the urban professional.

Safety

This A45 S is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite tailored for high-speed environments, including Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist, which are invaluable on busy GCC highways. The standard 360-degree camera and active parking sensors simplify maneuvering in tight urban parking spaces. It also features a robust array of airbags and Mercedes-Benz's Pre-Safe system, ensuring top-tier occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is the ideal acquisition for the performance enthusiast who wants a factory-fresh AMG experience without the wait, backed by the security of a low-mileage GCC-spec history.
