Summary

This 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest evolution of the iconic G-Class, featuring the new 48-volt mild-hybrid system that sharpens low-end response and smooths out city driving. With only 3,400 km, this vehicle is essentially in showroom condition, offering a significant advantage for buyers seeking a current-model-year flagship without the wait. The handcrafted V8 powertrain delivers an unmatched presence on the road, while the updated MBUX interior ensures top-tier tech integration. As a nearly new example of the region's most desirable luxury SUV, it offers immediate prestige and high liquidity in the secondary market. For the GCC buyer, this is the definitive blend of military-grade heritage and supercar-rivaling performance.

This Car vs Other 2025 G63 AMGs

With just 3,400 km on the odometer, this G63 sits well below the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, making it one of the freshest examples currently available. While the European regional specification offers the latest continental tech and emissions standards, buyers should note it may have different warranty terms compared to local agency cars. The nearly new mileage ensures that all mechanical components, from the mild-hybrid system to the performance brakes, remain in peak factory condition.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The AMG G 63 is the performance flagship, significantly upgrading the G 550's inline-six with a handcrafted 585 hp twin-turbo V8. It features the AMG Ride Control suspension for superior road handling and the signature quad side-exit exhausts that are a staple of luxury motoring in the Gulf. Inside, this trim adds Nappa leather upholstery, an AMG-specific performance steering wheel, and the high-performance braking system as standard.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 stands alone against rivals like the Lamborghini Urus and Range Rover SV by utilizing a rugged ladder-frame chassis and three mechanical locking differentials for genuine off-road dominance. While competitors often prioritize aerodynamics, the G-Class offers superior visibility with its upright glass and a commanding 100-liter fuel tank designed for long-distance desert transit. It remains the only performance SUV that combines a hand-built engine with legitimate military-derived 4x4 hardware.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically ranges between 15 and 18 L/100km, reflecting the heavy-duty nature of the V8 in GCC stop-start traffic. The G63 enjoys legendary resale value in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, often retaining up to 80% of its value after the first year, significantly outperforming other European luxury SUVs. Authorized service centers are widely available across all major GCC cities, ensuring parts and specialized V8 maintenance are easily accessible.

Performance & Capability

The 585 hp V8 biturbo engine, now enhanced with an integrated starter-generator, provides an additional 20 hp boost for effortless overtaking on the E11 highway. It features a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity and 241 mm of ground clearance, making it as capable of hauling luxury marine gear as it is at navigating weekend dunes. The 9-speed TCT transmission is tuned for rapid shifts, allowing this 2.6-ton icon to reach a limited top speed of 220 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of Nappa leather and carbon fiber, featuring the updated 12.3-inch dual-screen MBUX interface with augmented reality navigation. For the GCC summer, the multi-zone climate control is engineered to rapidly cool the vertical cabin, supported by high-quality acoustic glass to insulate against exterior heat. The 640-litre boot provides ample space for family road trips, while the Burmester 3D surround sound system offers a concert-like experience during long cross-border drives.

Safety

Standard safety tech includes the full Driver Assistance Package with Active Steering Assist and a 360° camera with a 'Transparent Hood' view for navigating tricky terrain or tight parking. The G63 is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and Pre-Safe predictive protection, alongside high-performance AMG brakes designed to bring its significant mass to a halt safely in high-speed highway traffic.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the latest 2025 technology and the raw power of the handcrafted V8 without waiting for a dealer allocation, this low-mileage G63 is the premier choice in the market today.
