Summary

This 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest refresh of the legendary G-Wagon, combining its iconic boxy silhouette with modern mild-hybrid efficiency. With only 4,000 km, this GCC-spec example is practically brand new and features the updated MBUX infotainment and Active Ride Control suspension that transformed the on-road handling for this model year. Blue is a distinguished and sought-after choice in the UAE, offering a sophisticated alternative to the common black or white while maintaining strong resale demand. For the GCC buyer, the G63 remains the ultimate status symbol that backing up its image with genuine, heavy-duty off-road hardware for desert weekends.

This Car vs Other 2025 G63 AMGs

With just 4,000 km, this vehicle is significantly below the typical GCC annual usage of 20,000 km, making it a prime alternative to a showroom-new order. The rare Blue exterior provides a unique edge in the pre-owned market where most listings are limited to monotone shades, ensuring faster resale when the time comes. Being a 2025 model, it benefits from the latest facelift improvements including the electrified powertrain and enhanced aerodynamics for reduced wind noise on UAE highways.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the AMG flagship, the G63 adds the handcrafted V8 engine, performance-tuned 4MATIC all-wheel drive, and the high-performance braking system that the standard G550 lacks. This trim includes the standard Nappa leather interior, the Burmester 3D Surround Sound system, and the new 'Transparent Hood' camera technology which is essential for navigating rocky terrain or high-kerb city parking. Unlike lower-tier models, the G63 features the AMG-specific grille and side-exit exhausts that define the vehicle's presence in the Gulf.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 stands apart from rivals like the Lamborghini Urus and Range Rover by utilizing a traditional ladder-frame chassis and three mechanical locking differentials, offering superior durability for deep-sand desert driving. While the Urus focuses on track-like speed, the G-Wagon provides a more commanding driving position and better vertical visibility for busy multi-lane highway traffic. Its 100-litre fuel tank also offers a distinct advantage for long-distance cross-border drives compared to more road-biased performance SUVs.

Running Costs & Resale

The G63 is one of the strongest-holding assets in the UAE luxury car market, with the 2025 refresh likely to follow the historical trend of holding up to 80% of its value after three years. The new 48V mild-hybrid system improves stop-start fuel economy in heavy city traffic in Dubai and Riyadh, while official service intervals are every 20,000 km or 12 months. Authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers are extensively available across all GCC states, ensuring convenient maintenance and parts availability.

Performance & Capability

The G63 rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, an incredible feat for a body-on-frame SUV weighing over 2.6 tonnes. It features a maximum wading depth of 700 mm and 241 mm of ground clearance, making it as capable in a Wadi as it is on the highway. The updated AMG Active Ride Control suspension allows you to toggle between a composed highway cruiser and a stiffened sport SUV at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 2025 model features dual 12.3-inch displays and the latest MBUX software with augmented reality navigation for precise turn-by-turn guidance. The cabin is designed for the GCC climate with powerful tri-zone climate control and ventilated Nappa leather seats as standard equipment. Acoustic glass and improved insulation significantly reduce external heat and wind noise during high-speed summer drives across the Emirates.

Safety

This G63 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Active Steering Assist, Blind Spot Assist for fast-moving highway traffic, and the 360-degree camera system with 'Transparent Hood' view. These features are particularly useful in the GCC for managing the vehicle's boxy dimensions in tight urban spaces and ensuring stability on sand-drifted desert roads. The robust body-on-frame construction provides a level of passive safety and durability that few other luxury SUVs can match.

The bottom line

This nearly new, GCC-spec 2025 G63 AMG in a standout Blue is the perfect choice for a buyer who wants the latest tech and performance without the waitlist of a new factory order.
