Summary

This 2025 GLE450 4MATIC offers the ideal balance of turbocharged six-cylinder power and modern hybrid efficiency, making it a standout in the midsize luxury SUV segment. Its silver exterior is widely considered one of the strongest resale colors in the GCC, perfectly hiding desert dust while maintaining a premium aesthetic. With only 24,000 km, this vehicle is barely past its initial break-in period, providing a near-new ownership experience without the steep first-year depreciation. The inclusion of all-wheel drive and a refined hybrid system ensures a smooth, composed drive whether navigating Dubai's city traffic or cruising between emirates. For a buyer seeking the latest Mercedes-Benz technology and prestige with a reliable regional support network, this American-spec SUV represents a compelling opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2025 GLE450s

With just 24,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, marking it as a low-mileage example for its model year. The silver finish is a strategic choice for the region, offering significantly better heat reflection and higher resale demand compared to darker tones. While this is an American-spec model, the 2025 mechanical platform is globally consistent, ensuring broad parts availability across UAE service centers.

4MATIC vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the 4MATIC trim replaces the entry-level four-cylinder with a much smoother 3.0L inline-six engine, providing the effortless acceleration GCC drivers expect on high-speed highways. It also adds standard all-wheel drive, which offers superior grip and stability during occasional rain or on loose gravel surfaces compared to the rear-wheel-drive base models. This trim further benefits from an integrated 48V mild-hybrid system that assists with seamless stop-start transitions in heavy city traffic.

GLE450 vs Segment Rivals

The GLE450 leads its primary rivals, the BMW X5 and Audi Q7, in terms of ride refinement and cabin technology integration via the latest MBUX system. Its generous 85-litre fuel tank provides a significant range advantage for long-distance desert crossings, reducing the frequency of stops on routes like Dubai to Salalah. The Mercedes-Benz brand also typically enjoys a more extensive specialized service network across the wider GCC compared to newer entrants in the luxury segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption benefits from the mild-hybrid system, particularly in stop-start traffic where it reduces idle time, while highway cruising remains efficient for a vehicle of this size. Service intervals typically occur every 15,000 km at authorized centers, which are readily available throughout the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As a mid-trim six-cylinder model in a high-demand color, this GLE450 is positioned to retain its value better than either the entry-level four-cylinders or the high-depreciation AMG variants.

Performance & Capability

The 381 hp turbocharged engine delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 5.6 seconds, ensuring confident overtaking even when fully loaded with passengers. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is tuned for on-road composure, providing excellent traction for weekend family trips to the mountains or coastal resorts. Multiple drive modes allow you to tailor the suspension and throttle response to suit everything from relaxed city commuting to spirited highway driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system and high-quality insulation that keeps the interior quiet at high speeds. The dual 12.3-inch digital displays provide a futuristic interface, while the spacious second row offers ample legroom for adult passengers on long journeys. Premium materials and ergonomic seating ensure that even several hours behind the wheel feel effortless and fatigue-free.

Safety

This GLE450 comes standard with a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies, including blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist, which are essential for navigating the fast-paced, multi-lane highways of the UAE. The 360-degree camera system makes parking this sizable SUV in tight urban spaces simple and stress-free. Additionally, the advanced stability control and numerous airbags provide class-leading protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

This 2025 GLE450 is the perfect match for a professional or family seeking a low-mileage, high-specification SUV that combines prestigious German engineering with the most resilient resale color in the GCC market.
