• 3,500 kg maximum braked towing capacity
• 90-litre fuel tank capacity

Summary

This one-year-old SUV offers a compelling combination of late-model features and a meaningful mileage advantage, sitting well below the typical 45,000 km expected for a vehicle of this age in the GCC. Finished in white, the region's most preferred color for heat management and resale liquidity, this GLS450 serves as the benchmark for seven-seat luxury. The inline-six mild-hybrid powertrain provides smooth, effortless power that is ideal for cross-emirate highway cruising or navigating dense city traffic in Dubai and Riyadh. As the flagship Mercedes SUV, it delivers a more refined road presence than its smaller siblings, making it a standout choice for families who prioritize safety and prestige. For a buyer looking to secure a nearly new flagship without the initial showroom depreciation, this GCC-spec listing represents a secure and sensible entry into the premium segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 GLS450s

With 35,903 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven less than the average GCC annual usage of 20,000 to 25,000 km, ensuring it remains in peak mechanical condition for its next owner. The white exterior is the strongest resale color in the local market, offering a distinct advantage in both cooling efficiency during summer and value retention at the point of sale. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it avoids the warranty and cooling system risks often associated with imported American or European models.

4MATIC vs Lower Trims

As the 4MATIC flagship, this trim provides a permanent all-wheel-drive system that is far superior to RWD alternatives for maintaining stability on sand-swept highways. The standard inclusion of the Burmester 13-speaker audio system and the 360-degree camera suite offers a level of convenience and acoustic isolation that lower-tier configurations lack. GCC buyers will also benefit from the standard ventilated seating and multi-zone climate control, which are essential for maintaining cabin comfort during peak summer months.

GLS450 vs Segment Rivals

While the BMW X7 offers a sportier drive, the GLS450 leads in usable third-row legroom and overall cargo capacity, making it a more practical choice for large families in the region. Compared to the Range Rover, the Mercedes-Benz benefits from a significantly more extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Its 90-litre fuel tank provides a longer highway range than many rivals, a critical factor for long-distance desert travel between major GCC cities.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid inline-six typically averages 9.2L/100km on the highway, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic typical of Dubai or Riyadh. Mercedes-Benz maintains a robust service network across the GCC, with standard service intervals every 15,000 km to ensure longevity in high-heat conditions. The GLS historically retains approximately 60-70% of its value after three years in the GCC, performing well against European competitors due to high demand for seven-seat luxury flagships.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 3.0-litre engine delivers a manufacturer-rated 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds, providing plenty of punch for safe highway overtaking. With a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 kg, this SUV is fully capable of hauling boats or trailers for weekend trips to the coast. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is paired with adaptive air suspension, allowing the vehicle to glide over road imperfections while maintaining composure on gravel tracks or light desert trails.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a genuine seven-seater, featuring a third row that can comfortably accommodate adults, unlike many mid-size SUVs. Occupants are protected from the intense GCC sun by acoustic glass and a high-performance 4-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents. The dual 12.3-inch digital displays run the latest MBUX software, offering seamless wireless smartphone integration and a fingerprint scanner for personalized driver profiles.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a full ADAS suite with Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, which is invaluable for reducing fatigue during long highway drives across the Emirates. The 360-degree surround-view camera makes parking this large SUV effortless in tight urban spaces, while blind-spot monitoring provides essential alerts in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. Multiple airbags and advanced braking technology ensure maximum protection for all seven passengers.

The bottom line

For the executive family seeking a low-mileage, GCC-spec flagship in the market's most liquid color, this GLS450 offers the perfect balance of luxury, space, and peace of mind.
