Summary

This 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander GLS Highline is a compelling family SUV, offering the latest in tech and safety with only one year of road use. Silver is a high-demand resale color in the GCC market, and with 46,000 km, this vehicle has been broken in primarily on the UAE’s well-maintained highway network. As the Highline trim, it bridges the gap between everyday utility and luxury, making it a standout choice in its segment. For local buyers, Mitsubishi's long-standing reputation for reliability and the widespread availability of service centers across the region make it one of the most practical seven-seaters available. This specific listing represents a nearly-new opportunity without the initial showroom depreciation.

This Car vs Other 2025 Outlanders

At one year old, this Outlander's mileage reflects typical highway-heavy usage for a family vehicle in the GCC, where annual averages often exceed 25,000 km. Silver remains a top-three resale color in the region due to its ability to hide desert dust and manage heat absorption. Choosing a GCC-spec model ensures you have the correct cooling systems and a manufacturer-backed service network that American or European imports lack.

GLS HIGHLINE vs Lower Trims

The GLS Highline trim is a significant upgrade over the entry-level ES and mid-level SE models, adding premium touches like 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a larger 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster. It specifically adds comfort features vital for the local climate, such as three-zone automatic climate control and integrated rear-door sunshades. You also benefit from a power liftgate and advanced safety systems that are often optional on lower specifications.

Outlander vs Segment Rivals

The Mitsubishi Outlander competes directly with the Nissan X-Trail and Toyota RAV4, leading the pack by offering a standard third row in a more compact footprint. While many rivals limit their seating to five, the Outlander provides genuine 7-passenger flexibility for school carpools and family outings. Its Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system also provides dedicated terrain modes that are better suited for light desert trails than many of its road-biased competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is competitive for a 7-seater SUV, averaging around 13.9 km/L on GCC highways. Mitsubishi maintains one of the strongest service networks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with parts availability being among the best in the market. Historically, the Outlander holds its value well in the local market, typically seeing slower depreciation compared to European equivalents. Regular service intervals every 10,000 km ensure the CVT and S-AWC systems remain in peak condition.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L engine produces 181 hp, providing smooth and consistent power for highway overtaking and city traffic. The Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system includes a Mud mode, specifically designed to help navigate loose sand and gravel during weekend desert trips. With a braked towing capacity of up to 907 kg, it is also capable of hauling small trailers or jet skis for active families. The 210 mm ground clearance provides peace of mind when navigating uneven terrain or high speed bumps.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC summer comfort, featuring powerful air conditioning with dedicated vents for the second and third rows. The 7-seat configuration is highly flexible, with 40:20:40 split-folding second-row seats that allow for long items without sacrificing all passenger space. Insulation has been improved in this generation to reduce wind and road noise on long drives between emirates. Premium materials on the dashboard and touchpoints give the GLS Highline a refined, high-end feel.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the GLS Highline, which comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite. Key features include Adaptive Cruise Control, which is indispensable for long desert highway drives, and Blind Spot Warning for busy multi-lane traffic. The vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags, Forward Collision Mitigation, and a 360-degree camera system that makes parking this SUV in tight urban spaces effortless.

The bottom line

This 2025 Outlander GLS Highline is the ideal choice for a growing GCC family looking for a reliable, high-tech seven-seater with the security of a modern manufacturer warranty.
