Summary

This 2025 RAM 1500 Laramie represents the cutting edge of American pickups, featuring the all-new Hurricane twin-turbo engine that delivers more power and efficiency than the outgoing V8s. With mileage sitting well below the GCC annual average for a truck of this age, it offers a nearly new driving experience with the benefit of the region's preferred white exterior for maximum heat reflection and resale strength. The Laramie trim is the sweet spot for the UAE market, providing high-end luxury features without the extreme price tag of the Limited trims. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully optimized for local conditions, featuring a cooling system and air conditioning units built to handle extreme summer temperatures. This is a versatile choice for those who need a serious workhorse during the week and a premium family cruiser for desert weekend getaways.

This Car vs Other 2025 RAM 1500s

With just 34,938 km on the odometer, this RAM has seen significantly less usage than the 45,000–55,000 km typically expected for a year-old truck in the GCC highway-centric environment. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention compared to darker shades. Its status as a GCC-spec vehicle ensures it carries the correct radiator and AC specifications essential for long-term reliability in the region.

LARAMIE CREW vs Lower Trims

The Laramie trim significantly elevates the cabin experience over the Big Horn by introducing heated and ventilated leather-trimmed seats, which are essential for GCC summers. It also upgrades the technology suite with a larger 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen and a premium 10-speaker audio system as standard. Externally, you benefit from 20-inch premium wheels and LED lighting that give it a much more commanding presence on the road.

RAM 1500 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado, the RAM 1500 stands out for its class-leading interior refinement and the smoothness of its rear coil-link suspension. The new 3.0L Hurricane engine offers a more modern power delivery than the naturally aspirated V8s found in many rivals, providing superior torque for highway overtaking. Furthermore, RAM's Uconnect 5 system is widely regarded as the most intuitive infotainment interface in the full-size pickup segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The new twin-turbo I6 powertrain offers improved efficiency over previous generations, averaging approximately 12.4 L/100km in combined GCC driving conditions. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring that maintenance remains straightforward throughout the vehicle's life. RAM trucks maintain strong value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating at a competitive 12-15% annually, supported by a robust secondary market for well-maintained Laramie trims.

Performance & Capability

Leading the way is an impressive 5,238 kg maximum towing capacity, making this truck capable of hauling large boats or heavy trailers with ease across the Emirates. The Hurricane engine produces 400 hp and significant low-end torque, allowing for effortless acceleration even when the bed is fully loaded. With a selectable four-wheel-drive system and dedicated terrain modes, it transitions seamlessly from high-speed highway cruising to soft sand desert driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The Laramie Crew Cab offers best-in-class rear legroom, ensuring that three adults can travel in total comfort during long cross-border drives. The dual-zone climate control system is specifically tuned for the high ambient temperatures of the Middle East, complemented by rear-seat air vents to keep all passengers cool. High-quality acoustic glass and extensive sound dampening keep the cabin remarkably quiet, shielding occupants from wind and road noise at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on this trim, featuring a suite of advanced driver assistance systems including Forward Collision Warning and Pedestrian Emergency Braking. For the fast-moving highways of the GCC, the Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection provides essential coverage during lane changes. The vehicle also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system, which is invaluable for maneuvering a truck of this size into tight urban parking spots or hitching a trailer alone.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the perfect balance of new-generation performance and premium cabin luxury, this low-mileage Laramie is a standout choice that bypasses the initial depreciation of a showroom-fresh truck.
