Summary

The 2025 Seres 7 Flagship represents a sophisticated shift in the GCC luxury SUV market, blending high-performance electric power with a range-extending hybrid engine. As a current-year model with the top-tier Flagship trim, it offers the highest level of refinement and tech available for this series, including premium Nappa leather and soft-touch finishes throughout the cabin. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, maintaining its visual appeal against desert dust while remaining a strong resale color. For UAE buyers looking to bridge the gap between electric efficiency and long-distance highway freedom, this hybrid powertrain offers the ideal solution for cross-emirate travel.

This Car vs Other 2025 Seres 7s

With zero kilometers on the odometer, this Seres 7 stands as a factory-fresh example of the 2025 model year. The Grey paintwork is a strategic choice for the GCC, known for its ability to hide light sand film between washes compared to darker tones. As a Flagship trim, it commands the highest tier of the model range, ensuring it remains at the top of the depreciation curve for the current year.

FLAGSHIP vs Lower Trims

The Flagship trim distinguishes itself from the Comfort and Premium levels with the addition of high-grade Nappa leather upholstery and an expanded suite of intelligent driving aids. While lower trims often focus on essential connectivity, the Flagship includes advanced features like a zero-gravity driver's seat and a premium 15.6-inch 2K central display. It also standardizes the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system, which is an optional upgrade on lower variants.

Seres 7 vs Segment Rivals

The Seres 7 competes directly with the Li Auto L7 and AITO M7, leading the segment with its Huawei-backed intelligent cockpit ecosystem. Its 686-litre boot capacity is exceptionally competitive for a five-seater mid-size SUV, offering more versatile cargo room for family road trips than many traditional luxury German crossovers. The inclusion of a dedicated range-extender allows it to maintain consistent performance on long highway hauls where pure EVs might struggle with range anxiety.

Running Costs & Resale

This hybrid powertrain is designed for high efficiency in GCC stop-start traffic, utilizing electric power for urban commuting while the 1.5L engine acts as a generator for longer drives. Real-world fuel consumption remains competitive for its size, especially when utilizing the 40kWh battery for short trips. The Seres brand is rapidly expanding its authorized service footprint across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, supporting long-term value retention. As a 2025 model, it benefits from a fresh warranty cycle, a crucial factor for resale in the local used market.

Performance & Capability

Delivering 350 hp and a massive 654 Nm of torque, the Seres 7 Flagship accelerates from 0–100 km/h in a sports-car-rivaling 4.8 seconds. The dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system provides excellent stability during high-speed highway overtaking and improved traction on loose gravel surfaces common in new UAE developments. Its range-extender technology ensures a total combined range of 1,050 km (WLTP), making it one of the most capable long-distance cruisers in the electrified SUV segment.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a haven of luxury featuring ventilated and heated front seats with a built-in massage function, specifically designed to counter the extreme GCC summer heat. The acoustic glass and high-quality insulation ensure a quiet environment even at highway speeds between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated climate vents and ample legroom, while the zero-gravity driver’s seat offers unparalleled comfort for daily commutes.

Safety

Safety is managed by a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking, all standard on this Flagship trim. A 360-degree high-definition camera system makes maneuvering this large SUV effortless in tight mall parking lots. Multiple airbags and a high-strength chassis provides peace of mind for family transport across the region.

The bottom line

For the tech-savvy GCC family seeking the performance of an EV without the range limitations, this 2025 Seres 7 Flagship is the most refined and capable configuration currently available.
