Summary

This 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser VXR is the definitive choice for GCC buyers who demand a flagship off-road experience without sacrificing executive-level luxury. Finished in high-resale White, this one-year-old SUV benefits from the 300 Series' advanced twin-turbo powertrain, delivering effortless performance across the UAE's highway networks. The VXR trim sits at the top of the local hierarchy, offering superior cabin technology and safety features compared to the volume-selling GXR. For any serious buyer in the region, the combination of legendary reliability and a massive GCC service network makes this a lower-risk investment than its European rivals. It remains the ultimate multi-purpose vehicle for desert weekends and daily school runs alike.

This Car vs Other 2025 Land Cruisers

At just one year old, this vehicle typically presents significantly lower wear than the average GCC Land Cruiser, which often covers 25,000 km annually due to long-distance inter-emirate commutes. The White exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention. Buying a near-new 2025 model allows you to bypass the initial showroom depreciation while still enjoying the latest LC300 mechanical refinements.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR is a significant step up from the GXR, replacing standard upholstery with premium leather and adding essential GCC luxury features like ventilated second-row seats and a four-zone climate control system. Technology-wise, the VXR gains the 14-speaker JBL premium audio system and a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor, which are often only optional or unavailable on mid-range trims. It also includes the full Toyota Safety Sense suite and a larger 12.3-inch multimedia display as standard.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser's primary rival is the Nissan Patrol; while the Patrol offers a V8 option, the Toyota’s 3.5L twin-turbo V6 provides superior low-end torque for desert driving and better fuel efficiency for city traffic. Compared to the Land Rover Defender, the Land Cruiser offers a more extensive service network across Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE, making it easier to maintain outside major cities. Its 110-litre fuel tank gives it a distinct range advantage for long-distance desert expeditions.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V6 averages around 10.1 km/L, though this varies during high-temperature summer months when the air conditioning is at maximum. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains the highest possible resale value in the region and is eligible for service at any authorized Toyota center across the Middle East. Toyota Land Cruisers historically boast the lowest depreciation rate in the GCC SUV segment, typically losing only 8-10% of their value annually.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp twin-turbo engine enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in roughly 6.7 seconds, providing plenty of power for highway overtaking. Off-road, the VXR is equipped with a low-range transfer case, Multi-Terrain Select, and a central locking differential to handle the softest sand dunes. With 230 mm of ground clearance and a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, it is as much a weekend workhorse as it is a luxury commuter.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme Middle Eastern climate, featuring high-output air conditioning with dedicated vents for all three rows and ventilated seats to keep passengers cool in 45-degree heat. The seven-seat layout is genuinely usable, with power-folding third-row seats that stow flat to create a massive cargo area. Passengers in the rear benefit from dual 11.6-inch entertainment screens, making long family road trips across the border much more comfortable.

Safety

The VXR comes standard with the full Toyota Safety Sense package, including Adaptive Cruise Control for long highway stretches and a Pre-Collision System. The 360-degree camera system is invaluable for parking this large SUV in tight urban spaces, while Blind Spot Monitoring provides an extra layer of safety on fast-moving multi-lane roads like Sheikh Zayed Road. It is equipped with multiple SRS airbags, including side-curtain coverage for all three rows.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec VXR is the perfect match for a family or executive seeking the peak of Toyota’s luxury and off-road engineering with the immediate availability of a near-new vehicle.
