Summary

This GCC-spec 2026 SUV is a standout opportunity, offering exceptionally low mileage for its age in a region where long-distance travel is standard. The Red exterior provides a vibrant alternative to the typical grayscale palette while maintaining good visibility and desirability in the UAE market. As the Trend trim, it strikes a perfect balance between high-end tech and essential daily comfort, making it a highly practical choice for both small families and young professionals. Its EcoBoost engine is specifically tuned for highway efficiency and reliable cooling, two critical factors for long-term ownership in the Gulf climate.

This Car vs Other 2026 Ford Territorys

With just 15,496 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This low usage translates to significantly less wear on the transmission and suspension compared to other 2026 models frequently used for cross-emirate commutes. The Red finish is a strong resale choice for those seeking a modern look, often attracting a quicker sale than standard white models in the pre-owned market.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim represents a significant upgrade over the entry-level Ambiente, most notably adding a 12-inch high-definition touchscreen and premium vinyl seats that are better suited for the GCC heat than base cloth. It includes essential driver-assist technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring (BLIS) as standard. Additionally, the Trend receives upgraded LED headlights and a dual-zone automatic climate control system, ensuring faster cabin cooling during the peak of the Gulf summer.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Corolla Cross and Chevrolet Captiva, the Ford Territory offers a more powerful 1.8L EcoBoost engine with 320 Nm of torque, providing better highway overtaking capability. Its cabin is wider, offering superior shoulder room for five adults, which is a key advantage for family weekend trips. While rivals prioritize fuel sipping, the Ford leads with its 12-inch digital interface and a larger standard boot capacity of 448 litres.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy averages around 12.5 km/L, though highway runs between Dubai and Abu Dhabi can achieve up to 14 km/L when driven efficiently. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km at authorized Ford centers, which are extensively available across all major GCC cities including Riyadh, Kuwait City, and Muscat. The Territory has shown resilient value retention in the UAE, typically depreciating at a slower rate than its European rivals due to strong parts availability and regional brand trust.

Performance & Capability

The 1.8L turbocharged engine delivers a robust 190 hp, allowing for smooth acceleration and confident highway merging even with a full load. While it is a Front Wheel Drive SUV, it features selectable drive modes including a 'Mountain' setting that optimizes throttle response for gravel paths or inclined terrain. The 7-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refined shifts, providing a comfortable ride during heavy stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC comfort, featuring dual-zone automatic climate control with dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers cool in extreme heat. The 12-inch central display supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring seamless connectivity on long desert drives. The seats are upholstered in durable, heat-resistant vinyl, and the cabin is well-insulated to minimize wind and road noise at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is a priority on this trim, equipped with a comprehensive suite including 6 airbags, Stability Control, and Hill-Start Assist. The Ford Co-Pilot360 technology provides active protection with Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Keeping Assist, which are invaluable for safety on multi-lane GCC highways. A high-resolution rear-view camera and parking sensors make navigating tight urban parking spots effortless.

The bottom line

For a buyer seeking a nearly-new SUV with modern tech and high torque for the highway, this low-mileage Trend trim is a smart, market-ready choice that avoids the steepest new-car depreciation.
