Summary

The 2026 Hyundai Staria Luxury is a standout in the GCC market, offering a spaceship-inspired aesthetic that looks fresher than any other van in the segment. In the white exterior, this car benefits from the highest resale demand in the region, ensuring it holds its value better than more unconventional colors. The Luxury trim is the definitive choice for those who want an executive lounge experience rather than a basic shuttle, featuring high-end materials that rivals often reserve for premium SUVs. With its GCC-specific cooling systems, it remains the most comfortable way to transport seven passengers during the peak Arabian summer. For a buyer looking for a brand-new 2026 model, this listing represents a top-tier specification that is mechanically proven for long-distance highway hauls across the UAE and beyond.

This Car vs Other 2026 Starias

As a 2026 model with delivery mileage, this Staria sits at the absolute peak of the used market, offering the full benefit of a fresh warranty and the latest software updates. While many Starias in the region are high-mileage workhorses, this specific unit provides a factory-fresh alternative for buyers who prioritize reliability and the 'new car' feel. The white paint is a strategic advantage here, as it is the most searched-for color in the GCC and significantly easier to maintain under the desert sun.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is a significant jump from the Comfort and Premium models, adding the essential VIP 7-seat layout with second-row captain chairs that feature heating, ventilation, and power adjustment. It also replaces the standard dashboard with a dual 12.3-inch digital cockpit and adds the 360-degree Surround View Monitor, which is nearly indispensable for navigating a vehicle of this size in tight Dubai or Riyadh parking spaces. You also get the premium Bose sound system and ambient lighting, which are not available on the base transport trims.

Staria vs Segment Rivals

The Staria competes directly with the Toyota Granvia and Kia Carnival, but it leads the segment with its futuristic interior volume and massive window area for superior visibility. Unlike the more traditional Granvia, the Staria's 3.5L V6 is tuned for a smooth, car-like driving experience on fast-moving multi-lane highways. Its wheelbase is one of the longest in the class, providing genuine adult legroom in all three rows, which is a key advantage over smaller crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L V6 engine is a reliable, naturally aspirated unit that is easy to service via Hyundai's massive authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. In GCC stop-start traffic, you can expect fuel consumption around 14.5 L/100km, which drops significantly to approximately 8.2 L/100km during long highway drives between emirates. The Staria has shown strong value retention in the local market, typically depreciating less than European rivals due to the high demand for reliable family transporters.

Performance & Capability

With 270 hp and 331 Nm of torque, this van is surprisingly agile, reaching 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds—faster than many smaller four-cylinder SUVs. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refinement, ensuring smooth overtaking on the E11 or highway 40 without the engine becoming intrusive. While it is a front-wheel-drive van, its low center of gravity and long wheelbase provide excellent stability during high-speed cruising and in crosswinds.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Luxury trim transforms into a private jet for the road, headlined by ventilated front and second-row seats that are vital for the GCC climate. The air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, featuring dedicated rear zones and ceiling-mounted vents that reach the third row instantly. The massive panoramic windows are fitted with factory-tinted glass to reduce solar heat gain while providing an unmatched view of the surroundings.

Safety

This Staria comes equipped with the full Hyundai SmartSense suite, which is essential for safe highway travel in the region. Standard features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor—which shows a live camera feed in the digital dash—and Adaptive Cruise Control for effortless long-distance drives. It also features a comprehensive 7-airbag system and Safe Exit Assist to prevent passengers from opening doors into passing traffic.

The bottom line

This 2026 Staria Luxury is the perfect opportunity for an executive family or VIP transport service to skip the showroom wait for a top-spec, GCC-ready lounge on wheels. It is the best-looking and most technologically advanced way to move seven people across the Emirates today.
