Summary

This 2026 Jetour Dashing Luxury offers a modern crossover experience with very competitive mileage for its age in the GCC market. As the range-topping Luxury trim, it provides a significantly higher equipment level than the base models, making it a high-value choice for families and tech-focused drivers. Its black exterior is a strong choice for the regional used market, ensuring steady interest and solid resale potential. The model stands out for its bold, futuristic styling and high-performance 1.6T engine that handles UAE highway speeds with ease. For a buyer looking for a near-new SUV with extensive tech features at a fraction of the cost of European rivals, this Dashing is a compelling opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2026 Dashings

At approximately 23,500 km, this Dashing is well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, representing a low-mileage advantage for a vehicle of this age. Most 2026 models in the local market have seen heavier daily commuting use, meaning this specific car offers better mechanical longevity and a fresher interior. The black exterior is among the most sought-after colors in the UAE and wider GCC, providing a distinct edge in future resale value.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is a substantial step up from the base 1.5T models, replacing the standard engine with a more potent 1.6-litre turbocharged unit and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It adds high-value features essential for the GCC climate, including ventilated front seats and a dual-zone climate control system with CN95 air filtration. Tech upgrades exclusive to this level include the 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, and a premium 8-speaker Sony audio system.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing leads competitors like the Toyota Corolla Cross and MG HS in terms of pure cabin technology, offering a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen that defines the interior experience. Its 1,900 mm width is superior to many in the compact SUV segment, providing better shoulder room for three rear passengers during family trips. While rivals prioritize traditional layouts, the Jetour offers a 'Travel+' focused design with specialized storage zones and superior standard safety tech.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at approximately 13 km/L, which is efficient for a 194-hp turbocharged crossover in GCC stop-start traffic. Maintenance is supported by an expanding authorized network including Elite Motors in the UAE, with standard service intervals of 10,000 km. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Dashing’s high feature-to-price ratio makes it a top choice for value-conscious buyers in the second-hand market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6T engine delivers a robust 194 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, enabling smooth overtaking and confident performance on fast-moving UAE highways. Its front-wheel-drive platform is tuned for urban comfort, featuring multiple drive modes including Sport and Eco to adapt to different driving conditions. With a top speed of 200 km/h and a refined dual-clutch gearbox, it provides a more spirited driving experience than most naturally aspirated crossovers in its class.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for premium comfort in extreme heat, featuring a panoramic glass roof with high-grade heat insulation and effective rear cooling vents for all passengers. The Luxury trim features high-quality synthetic leather seats with power adjustment and memory functions for the driver. Modern conveniences like 40W wireless fast charging and customizable ambient lighting ensure a sophisticated atmosphere for both short city hops and cross-country drives.

Safety

This Dashing Luxury comes equipped with a full Level 2 ADAS suite, including Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring. These systems are particularly valuable for high-speed highway driving between Emirates, providing an extra layer of protection. It also features six airbags, ISOFIX anchors for child seats, and a 540-degree transparent chassis view that makes parking in tight urban spaces effortless.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing is the perfect choice for a tech-savvy buyer who wants a high-specification, low-mileage 2026 SUV that is still covered by its extensive regional warranty. It offers a premium cabin experience and modern styling that rivals vehicles twice its price.
