Summary

This 2026 Jetour Dashing Comfort is an excellent entry into the modern compact SUV segment, offering a balance of futuristic styling and practical daily utility. With 120,000 km, this vehicle has been actively used for long-distance travel, a common occurrence for GCC-based commuters who frequent the highways between Emirates. The Metallic Grey finish is a highly practical choice for the region, offering better heat reflection than darker tones and maintaining a strong resale profile. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for local cooling requirements and supported by an expanding regional service network. This trim provides the essential high-tech feel Jetour is known for without the premium price tag of the top-tier editions.

This Car vs Other 2026 Jetour Dashings

At 120,000 km, this Dashing has covered significantly more ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, indicating a history of consistent highway use. While the mileage is high for its age, these vehicles are built on robust platforms designed to handle frequent long-distance trips. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for the local market, hiding dust well and sustaining its aesthetic appeal better than white or black over high-mileage cycles.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as a significant upgrade over the base 1.5L variants, most notably by housing the more powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It introduces the high-definition 360° camera system, which is indispensable for navigating tight parking spots in urban GCC centers. You also benefit from a more tech-focused digital cockpit and enhanced safety features that are often missing in entry-level specifications.

Jetour Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing stands out against rivals like the Hyundai Tucson and Changan UNI-T by offering a larger 57-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for cross-country drives across the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Its 1.6T engine produces 194 hp, giving it a performance edge over several base-model competitors in the same price bracket. Additionally, the futuristic cockpit design and cabin width provide a more spacious feel for front passengers compared to many traditional compact crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T powertrain typically averages around 8.5 to 9.7 L/100km in GCC conditions, depending on the balance of city traffic and highway cruising. Jetour's authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE and are growing in presence in Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 5,000 or 10,000 km. While Chinese brands generally face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Dashing’s popularity in the local used market helps it retain value better than many of its direct competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 194 hp and 290 Nm of torque, ensuring confident overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. Its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smooth gear transitions, making it efficient for the stop-start traffic typical of Dubai or Riyadh. With a top speed of approximately 190 km/h, it maintains stability at cruising speeds, while the front-wheel-drive setup is optimized for paved roads and light gravel tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around a 'smart cockpit' philosophy, featuring a 12.8-inch touchscreen that controls most vehicle functions, reducing physical clutter. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is notably powerful, complemented by dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool during peak summer. The seats are designed for long-distance comfort, and the cabin insulation provides a quiet environment even at highway speeds.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Comfort trim includes a comprehensive airbag system and essential electronic aids like Stability Control and Traction Control for sandy or wet surfaces. The 360° camera provides a bird's-eye view to prevent low-speed collisions, while Hill Assist and Brake Assist offer added security during incline starts or emergency stops. These features provide peace of mind for family drivers navigating the diverse road conditions found throughout the region.

The bottom line

For a buyer looking for a late-model, tech-heavy SUV that is already proven on GCC highways, this Dashing offers exceptional modern features at a price point that reflects its higher mileage.
