• 11.7 L/100km combined fuel consumption

Summary

This 2026 Lexus LX700h Signature represents the pinnacle of the brand's new performance hybrid direction, offering a massive torque advantage over the standard LX600 that is immediately felt during highway overtaking. As a brand-new model year in the classic Black exterior—the most sought-after resale color in the GCC—this SUV combines flagship presence with the reliability of a parallel hybrid system designed for extreme heat. The Signature trim provides a perfect balance of high-end features like the 12.3-inch digital cockpit and 22-inch wheels without the niche focus of the Overtrail or Ultra Luxury editions. For the GCC buyer, this is the most logical long-term investment in the full-size SUV segment, pairing unmatched local service support with a powertrain that thrives in the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2026 LX700hs

As a 2026 model year vehicle, this LX700h enters the market with delivery-level mileage that undercuts the typical 25,000 km annual average for GCC-based luxury SUVs. The Black exterior is the primary driver of value retention in the region, ensuring this specific unit will likely command a premium in the secondary market compared to less traditional colors. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it carries the full cooling and filtration upgrades required for long-term durability in the Arabian Peninsula.

SIGNATURE vs Lower Trims

The Signature trim serves as the entry point to the flagship hybrid experience, yet it standardizes high-demand GCC features like the 22-inch forged alloy wheels and the dual-screen infotainment setup that lower non-hybrid trims often lack. It includes the essential Active Height Control (AHC) system, allowing for significant ground clearance adjustments that are critical for navigating deep sand or high curbs. Unlike the F-Sport, the Signature focuses on a refined, classic aesthetic that appeals to executive tastes and traditional luxury buyers.

LX700h vs Segment Rivals

The LX700h leads rivals like the BMW X7 and Range Rover in regional reliability, benefiting from the widest authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its 110-liter total fuel capacity (when equipped with the auxiliary tank) offers a touring range that outclasses most European competitors on long cross-border drives. Furthermore, the body-on-frame construction provides a level of desert-duty durability that monocoque rivals simply cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at approximately 11.7 L/100km, a significant improvement over the petrol-only V6 in GCC city traffic where the hybrid motor handles low-speed crawling. Service intervals are standardized at 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive parts network in the region, ensuring lower long-term maintenance costs than European luxury brands. Lexus models typically depreciate at only 8-10% annually in the GCC, making this one of the safest financial placements for a high-value SUV.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5L twin-turbo hybrid powertrain delivers a combined 457 hp and a segment-leading 790 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6 seconds. Off-road capability remains uncompromised, featuring a 700 mm wading depth protected by a waterproof battery casing and a dual-range 4x4 system with a locking center differential. The instant torque from the electric motor provides exceptional low-speed control, which is a major advantage when navigating soft sand dunes or steep rocky inclines.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the seven-seat layout is optimized for family logistics with ventilated front seating and a powerful multi-zone climate control system engineered for 50°C summers. The cabin features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a secondary 7-inch lower screen for dedicated vehicle and climate settings, ensuring the driver never loses focus. Acoustic glass and enhanced insulation significantly reduce road noise during high-speed highway cruising across the Emirates.

Safety

The LX700h comes standard with the Lexus Safety System+, featuring Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which is indispensable for the long desert stretches between cities. Ten airbags and a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor provide comprehensive protection and visibility in tight urban parking scenarios. The hybrid-specific waterproof AC inverter also adds a layer of safety by providing an emergency 1500W-2400W power source for external equipment.

The bottom line

For the buyer who demands Land Cruiser durability with flagship Lexus refinement, this 2026 LX700h Signature in high-resale Black is the definitive choice for the GCC market.
