Summary

The 2026 Lexus LX700h F SPORT marks a major technological leap for the flagship SUV, introducing a powerful parallel hybrid system that pairs effortless torque with improved urban efficiency. In the GCC, where the LX has long been the gold standard for luxury off-roading, this hybrid variant offers better low-end response for both city traffic and dune navigation. The F SPORT trim adds a sharper edge to its road presence with tuned suspension and aggressive styling that holds exceptionally high resale value in the local market. This specific grey example is perfectly suited for the region, combining Lexus's legendary desert reliability with modern electrification. For a GCC buyer, it represents the ideal balance of status, bulletproof serviceability, and high-tech performance.

This Car vs Other 2026 LX700hs

As a 2026 model, this LX700h is part of the first generation of electrified LXs, making it a highly sought-after listing for those wanting the latest technology. Its grey exterior is a smart choice for the GCC, offering a sophisticated look that handles the dust of the region well while maintaining strong resale appeal. Compared to standard dealership stock, this hybrid flagship provides a unique combination of low-speed silence and high-speed overtaking power.

F SPORT vs Lower Trims

The F SPORT trim distinguishes itself from the Prestige or Signature trims with performance-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential for superior handling. Inside, it swaps standard furniture for F SPORT-bolstered seats, an aluminum pedal set, and a unique steering wheel design. It also includes the high-output 25-speaker Mark Levinson audio system and a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor as standard, features that are often optional on lower specifications.

LX700h vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover offer luxury, the LX700h leads on sheer mechanical durability and the strength of the Al-Futtaim and Ebrahim K. Kanoo service networks across the GCC. Its body-on-frame construction and waterproof hybrid battery tray allow for a 700 mm wading depth, outclassing many monocoque competitors in serious off-road scenarios. The hybrid system also provides a smoother, quieter idle during extreme summer heat when the AC is running at maximum capacity.

Running Costs & Resale

The LX700h offers a combined fuel economy of approximately 11.7 L/100km, a notable improvement over the non-hybrid LX600 in heavy city traffic. Lexus retains the best resale value in the GCC luxury SUV segment, typically depreciating only 8-10% annually compared to 15%+ for European rivals. With an authorized service center in virtually every major city from Dubai to Riyadh, parts availability is unrivaled, ensuring long-term maintenance remains predictable and affordable.

Performance & Capability

With 457 hp and a massive 790 Nm of torque, the LX700h can reach 100 km/h in approximately 6 seconds, making it the most responsive LX ever produced. The hybrid system is uniquely designed for the desert; even if the hybrid motor fails, a dedicated starter and alternator ensure the twin-turbo V6 and low-range transfer case remain fully functional. The Active Height Control (AHC) allows the driver to raise the vehicle for technical terrain or lower it for stable highway cruising at 120 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, featuring a high-capacity climate control system with dedicated rear cooling vents and ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers. The 5-seat configuration provides a massive boot space for family road trips between emirates, while acoustic glass ensures the cabin remains whisper-quiet at highway speeds. A cooled center console box is standard, keeping beverages chilled during long summer drives.

Safety

This trim is equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control—essential for long highway hauls across the UAE and KSA. The 360-degree camera system is particularly useful for parking such a large vehicle in tight urban spaces, while the Blind Spot Monitor provides critical awareness on fast-moving multi-lane roads.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who demands the prestige of a Lexus with the added efficiency and torque of a hybrid, this 2026 F SPORT is the definitive choice. It is a rare opportunity to own the latest evolution of a desert icon that will hold its value better than almost anything else on the road.
